Kitchen was way too small and one stove top was completely broken. That left over 60 people with one stove top to use. The fridge we used, broke on our last night and all our food was warm in the morning. Our frozen food had to be cooked or thrown out. This was very frustrating. We asked for new sponges on our first say and never got them. There was no coffee for 3 of the 4 days we stayed here. One bathroom/shower room had no soap or shampoo. When checking in, I pain in cash. Was told no change would be provided and was not given a receipt. When asking for a receipt, one was not provided. This is unprofessional for such an establishment.

The stay was great overall! Just a small note— it would be even better if the trash bin in the dormitory bathroom could be emptied a bit more often. Otherwise, everything was lovely!

The smell in the dormitory room, it's like old sweat, old beddings, need to get used to it and leave the door open often.

Everything is self-help mode (except the Secret Café), and with the shared kitchen, shared bathroom, it's very convenient. A huge playground with mountain view on one side, river and sunset view on the other. They also let you use the bike. The staff is not there sometimes, but responsive via phone. There's a bus service running between Gaspé and the community, but only from Monday to Friday and only one service to go and come back in a day, to check the Gaspesia tourism website for details.

We are seniors so we weren’t expecting a youth hostel. It was very clean and well kept. We would have preferred private washrooms. There was a very large group of students staying that made kitchen access difficult. They were very respectful.

Located in a very beautiful area. We were visiting Forillon National Park so this facility was very convenient. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked and equipped.

This auberge was a true find. A nice bedroom, clean (shared) bathroom facilities, a superb kitchen and dining area, very quiet during the nights. There were many shower/toilet areas so never queueing; many fridge/freezers so we all had space for our stuff, very large kitchen so we all could do our stuff there. There was a biljart (UK: pool) room etc. A nice outdoor BBQ/dining area. Location is fantastic for visiting the national parc, for sea kayaking etc. A general store within a few kms.

the location is super nice! the pictures don’t do this place justice, the kitchen is very clean and everyone is respectful. there were plants everywhere and a few couches. the property is also quite big and there’s a park right next door
