Excellent location! Steps to the public beach across the road. LCBO, two restaurants, an arcade/restaurant/bar, ice cream store, general store are all within a minute walk away. You couldn't ask for a better location for a fun beach weekend. Well equipped suite has everything you need, just hope on your motorcycle or car and go. The owner is very nice and very accommodating. The resort is well maintained and above expectations.

I enjoyed my stay! It felt very “neighborly”, as everyone who came and went chatted with each other and sat together to enjoy the amazing view of the water, and to enjoy the Thursday evening live music on the beach!! I believe this speaks to the kind of atmosphere the owner himself creates for his guests.

No complaints. The only recommendation I would make has nothing to do with the property - I would recommend you bring water shoes for the beach but this did not deter our enjoyment.

We had a fabulous beach vacation here! We had an efficiency unit with a little kitchen and with everything we needed for our stay. We liked the little fold out table and chairs in the kitchen,perfect for breakfast. The room was very clean with modern decor and design sense. The location was perfect and we loved being steps away from the beach and it felt very much like a resort. We also enjoyed walking to the nearby bar/restaurant and the little shop with ice cream and LCBO. Tiny is a small beach town that reminded us of bygone Beach towns and we preferred it to the crowds and bustle of nearby Wasaga Beach. You could easily spend your whole time here without driving anywhere. There were a number of bbqs on the premises which were spread out and we enjoyed a bbq most days we were there. We also used the firepit which Mike outfitted for us when we wanted. Mike was great - both helpful and friendly with anything we needed. This is a special place and we would love to come back.

The location was amazing. The room was perfect. Nice and clean plenty of space for us. The grounds were immaculate. The bbq area was private, lots of seating areas on the property to enjoy. We enjoyed a nice fire around the firepit area. You can tell the owner, Mark takes great pride in taking care of the grounds

The resort was spectacularly located across the street from the beach. Our room was immaculate. The small kitchen was perfect for doing our meals as we travelled with 2 small kids. Though the room was small when we had the double pull out setup it was very comfortable and perfect for us. We had a perfect hot, end of summer beach day enjoying the sand and water. And on other days we took advantage to the great location close to lots of fun adventures (hiking at Wye Marsh, St Marie Among the Hurons, Midland etc). It was the perfect end of summer get away (Labour Day weekend). I hope to return for many more years and wonderful memories.

Some people seemed to really enjoy their stay here, it just wasn't my kind of place. I thought the rooms would be a bit more spacious. The shower knob was installed in an odd way (sort of bashed in), and the furnishings were basic. I am not a fan of dark sheets on a motel bed - everything should be bleachable; these were not. The parking was tight - narrow and full - but we were able to squeeze in each night. I couldn't find any extra sheets for the sofa bed, which wasn't your typical pull-out, so we didn't use it. No cleaning service until you leave.

Cute look and feel to the motel. Great proximity to the beach. Pet friendly was a real bonus (extra charge). In the heart of the action at Balm Beach.

The room we were in was very dated and really needed some updating. The room looked very clean but there was a strong mildew smell like a damp basement. It got better the second day having the air conditioning on. The bathroom was functional.

The location was fantastic! Steps from the beach and restaurants. There was a general store and beach store all just steps from the motel. We didn’t need to use the car at all the entire time! The property was well kept and very spacious offering a couple of different seating areas as well as a fire pit. The room itself was very spacious with a well stocked kitchenette. Perfect if you were staying for a week or more. There was a full size coffeemaker included. The owner, Mark, was super accommodating and very friendly.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, I had a less than satisfactory experience. Upon arrival at night, I was disappointed to find that my room was not clean and there were only four bottles of water provided. The tap water had an extremely salty taste, making it unfit for basic tasks like brushing teeth. Furthermore, there was no hairdryer in the room, so it's advisable to bring your own if you plan to take a shower. The bed in the room was uncomfortable, and to add to the discomfort, the refrigerator emitted a loud noise, making it difficult to sleep peacefully. The lack of attention to these details affected the overall quality of my stay. To make matters worse, I found the gentleman at the reception to be unresponsive and occasionally behaving in a strange manner. This lack of professionalism further detracted from the overall experience. I hope the hotel management takes note of these issues and takes steps to improve their cleanliness standards, amenities, and guest services. It is important for them to address these shortcomings in order to provide a more enjoyable stay for their guests.

The property adjacent to the beach is exceptionally beautiful, boasting stunning views. There are well-maintained trails that allow you to immerse yourself in the tranquil blend of the lake and forest. During your stay, you can take a refreshing swim in the lake and in the evenings, indulge in the property's inviting fire pit.
