How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We were booked in a ground floor apartment but that required carrying our luggage up and down more than 22 stairs to get to our ground level apartment!

There is a whole administrative procedure to undertake prior to arrival to do with registering a deposit, but this worked smoothly. When I say it is small, it really is small; hence space to store stuff or put things on one side while cooking for instance is very limited.
These are small studios which are well laid out and comfortable in a hot Revelstoke summer. They are well located on the edge of town and communication with the property was good. There were a few things we needed (ironing board, iron, coat hangers ) which were not in the room, but were provided immediately on asking. Fot its size it is very well equipped. The air conditioning was much appreciated while we were there.

We booked a room for three but it was only prepared for two. I needed to get the sofa bed prepared myself und there wasn't even a towel - which I also requested extra. But this might be a miss when The room was set up. The hotel is a bit far from the city center - probably a 5-10mins drive, but we could have noticed earlier.
Great and very friendly staff. Great view on the river from the terrace (all rooms have). New/Modern facilities. We had a great stay.

There isn’t a lot of storage, which was fine for a short stay, but it would be a problem if it was occupied by 4 people.
We were able to park right outside our apartment. It was very well equipped, we were able to cook s full meal, and we were also supplied with starter amounts of tea,coffee and cleaning products, which was appreciated. The apartment was clean and the beds comfortable and being in the ground floor we had a covered patio area. It’s just a short 10 minute drive to the shops & supermarket. There were a lot of mosquitoes so don’t forget your deet!

Just if longer stay, nowhere to hang/store clothes..we were travelling and used to living out of suitcase 😊
Apartment was very spacious, beds/pillows comfy, amenities ample, very clean..lovely location along river..not cheap, not overly expensive, would recommend and stay again!

Online check in was a little tricky for someone traveling without data but the details did come through quickly once completed. Fridge was a little loud but they tend to be.
Beautiful location, on the river at the north end of the town. Easy parking at the front. Very well equipped suite. Comfortable bed, good shower.

Our room was ready for us to check in early but we were not able to do so. The receptionist on duty said she would text as soon as the room was ready - she never did. Mosquite repellent or spray would have been very helpful. None was provided or suggested.

The view from the apartment was amazing, so much nature and peace. The apartment per se was very new, well equipped and had a good kitchen area. The front porch was a nice area to relax for a bit. We also really appreciated the washing machine and dryer and free detergent.
