Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaOnly criticisms were that the pool opens at 10 with check out at 11 so would have preferred having more time. Apart from that, I think “No Jumping” signs should be added near the pool. When I was there it was more like a playground with 4 or 5 children jumping in. This would make it better for couples/singles there without kids so it can be fun for everyone! In the rooms, I would ask cleaners to test appliances, I had to find two working sockets for a the lamp for example which shouldn’t be the case.
Great value for money and the amenities are great for what you pay. Loved the size of the rooms and the fact that there is a full kitchen.

United KingdomRoom was quite small for 4 people. No bar or cafe at the hotel and either had to walk 20 mins or get shuttle bus to nearest facilities.
Free shuttle bus into the village. Swimming pool was good for children. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe size of the pool was a bit disappointing considering the size of the hotel and the number of guests. The extra cash for a window with a view is not really worth it as we could only see the base of the trees.
Good size room, clean and well equiped. Confortable and quiet. Helpfull and welcoming staff. Good location for famillies: quiet part of Whistler while providing easy access to the busy part of the village (foot or free shuttle).

IsraelExpensive parking, which is not included in the room rate. No indoor pool, only outdoor (heated but still cool).
Good, beautiful hotel on a mountain, in the woods and near the cable car. Big and comfortable suite with balcony.

AustraliaIt’s at the very top of Whistler which is great for serenity but does mean you need to take advantage of the free shuttle or drive and pay parking. We did walk it (only about 15/20 mins to lower village) but walking back up the hill is a bit of a hike. Very minor but the toilet is really low to the floor.
Loved the big comfy apartment after staying in hotels the last few weeks. The hotel is beautiful in the style of surrounding chalets and staff were all great. The apartment is well equipped with cutlery/crockery etc and bonus being able to stream our laptop onto the TV even though lots of channels for us to choose from. Bed was very comfy! Free shuttle bus to town was really handy.

CanadaOriginally, we thought it was quite far from the village, but after figuring out the trails, we were able to make it down to the village in about 10 minutes, walking, and would catch the very convenient free, shuttle bus on the way back back!
It was a warm, welcoming and clean atmosphere that gave a true Whistler experience!

ChileIt's at the top of the hill, but no problem if you have a car.
Staff was really friendly (specially the Chilean girl at front desk, that I forgot her name 🙃), she helped us a lot, everyone. Rooms were really spacious and comfortable. The pool is great, and the hot tubs. After a long day of walking, this is the best!

The rooms were nice and roomy and clean. The kitchen was nice and had all you need for your stay. Coffee in the room was great! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The shuttle to the village was a nice added bonus. Pool area is a bit small, so get there early!

CanadaI wish breastfast was provided. They do have a coffee station close to the lobby area, tho.
We had a fantastic mini weekend gateway with the kids. We booked a two bedroom suite, which was really great. If you have kids, the kitchen comes in very handy with all of the necessities needed. If you want to cook, make coffee, and use the microwave, it's all available. Dishes, cups, and utensils are also available. The suite is very clean, pool towels are provided, and bath robes as well. The hotel is very close to downtown Whistler, which is very continental as there are a lot of activities you can do around there. The hotel has a decent size pool with two hot tubs. Which was great.
