My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at Blanchard Mountain BnB. Apartment was very spacious, cozy, clean and very well equipped. Also breakfast was great. We would definately choose this accomodation again.

Very comfortable, spacious one bedroom unit with two decks and a lovely ravine immediately behind it. The breakfast (taken in the unit) was generous and tasty. You need a car to get to it - it's a bit out of town.

Only negative for us was shower -would have preferred a shower head that was moveable for hair washing but that's a personal opinion.

Large suite, very quiet and comfortable! Great views. Walking trail to Canmore for some exercise. Very detailed check in information. Self serve continental breakfast with lots of options including locally made granola and sour dough bread. Healthy snacks as well. Appliances available so one could make a hot breakfast if desired.

There isn’t anything that comes to mind on improvements. I certainly would like to book in summer or fall to take advantage of walking the trails.

I enjoyed the location of the accommodations. It was in a nice secure area. The owner was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a variety of options. It certainly was a home away from setting.

The kitchen is quite tight for two to prep meals or clean up after.

Blanchard Mountain is a great place to stay! Fantastic hosts, the suite was roomy and well stocked. We loved the local breakfast food and there was plenty for our stay. Very quiet, the bed was comfy and the heated floor was so nice on a winter weekend. Book it if you can!

Due to personal limited mobility, the number of steps required to access the accommodation was difficult.

No faults at all - just a tip! You can walk into town downhill for 30 minutes but remember you have to walk back up it. So maybe better to take the car.

A large well laid out comfortable property with lots of varieties of things to eat for breakfast. Great attention to detail. Barry was a fabulous host and very interesting to chat to.

Nothing! It really was a wonderful place to stay. There was slight traffic noise when sitting on the terrace but not noticeable inside the house

The property was in a lovely peaceful residential area of Canmore, but just a 20-25 minute walk to the centre. Although we let ourselves in, Barry (the host) soon came to introduce himself to us, tell us a bit about the area and help set up the sofa beds (there are 2, as well as the main bedroom). The kitchen was stocked with delicious local teas (Jolene's Cream Earl Grey was our favourite!) artisan bread, fruit, yogurts, museli, snacking nuts etc ...plenty for breakfast plus snacks for our various hikes. The property was very comfortable and homely. It also had a great wooden terrace with barbecue which we made good use of. An excellent base for exploring the beautiful area around Banff and Canmore.

Fantastic. Excellent value. Beautiful apartment. Private. Great location. Wonderful variety of gluten free breakfast food and snacks provided. Host was great, helpful but not intrusive. Definitely would stay again.
