The fact that we didn't have more time there because we would have stayed more than one night.

First of all, the staff were absolutely delightful and should be commended, every single one of them. Our corner Room with the double windows was perfect and The View is exactly what we were looking for. It was also very, very peaceful and quiet which is something else we were looking for.

It was all good. Perhaps the main building could be designed to reflect the era of its origin. Some information about the lodge would have been interesting. There is some history there.

We felt like we were at summer camp! The lake was clean and fun to swim in. Canoes and waterslide were in good condition. The beach was clean. The surrounding vegetation was natural and full of birds. I heard my first ovenbird!

The bathroom was a little dated, but other wise pleasant

We were only here for a night, as we attended a wedding in the area, but were sad that we spent so little time there. There seemed lots of fun activities to do, and the room was very pleasant.

Had to park far from the cabin and carry all our things down stairs. Patio lights were on after everything closed down - a hinderance to get kids ready for bed/go out and see stars. Volleyball area was right outside our door and it was awkward to hang out outside of our own cabin. The fire pit area was congested - not everyone could sit and enjoy it. There was also a large heavy metal triangular gate on the fire pit that was terrifying to watch be opened every time.

Lake and access to water toys/boats & canoes was awesome. The cabin we were in worked well for us.

I requested for a surprise for my wife’s birthday. They did arrange for nice decor with balloons, chocolates, popcorn, colours, book, and rose wine. The best part was that they gave us an upgrade too with an amazing lake side view. I love the place, the service, location, cleanliness. They just made my day and my wife was so happy about. First room was Dated - Certainly time for a Renovation ( Price was not justifiable in our opinion( posted prices ) good thing we got a Great Deal) I believe it’s on there to do List.The Breakfast and One dinner sitting was not worth a revisit - expected more Freshness from a Resort ? The Dockside Menu had some good choices on it but was not available- Sad ( Time of Year ? )

Location was fantastic, being on a Small Lake was quiet and Peaceful. Staff and Owner were Amazing . Free access to the Kayaks, Canoe and 3 Wheel Water Bike was appreciated . Second Room we were in was Fantastic compared to First. Restaurant was a little Rustic and Modern. Large room to mingle with others - Pool Table ( Coin Operated)

Breakfast arrangements were a little awkward but not really a complaint as I went into Haliburton for breakfast instead.

Location on the lake is superb. Very chilled out vibe. Loons calling off in the distance as I sat by the campfire. Perfection.

The food at the Dockside (wonderful setting) was very pedestrian to say the least. My wife ordered pan fried fish - the whole serving was no more than an off cut from a normal fillet and had to be fried in pepper!

Wonderful location, excellent resort facilities, very friendly and accommodating staff. We particularly enjoyed cabin 20 in a quiet spot away from all the family activities.

The location and facilities were excellent. Our children loved playing on the lake, using the paddle boards etc. We had the three bed lodge and it was everything we needed. Comfortable beds, modern living area. Would highly recommend.
