Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThe bathroom set up could’ve been better. I wish there were more mats on the floor. And a rag to wipe the counter tops. Since there were alot of people sharing a property - there is often waiting to get into the bathrooms. And the bathroom floors and countertops would be wet afterwards. The towel that they’ve given us to was ragged.
If you are coming to just get through a night then it’s a decent place. It’s easy to get in and transportation is very accessible.

CanadaI'm giving this place a "passable" as a review of the overall stay. There are 3 or 4 rooms rented, I had an issue with one person who was staying there. The guy decided the best time to start cooking was after 11 pm and played loud music, and then put his call on speaker at 1 am (first night) and at 6 am (second night), just outside my room. I politely asked him to use headphones, but he didn't give a damn. While the owner (or renting agency) responded to my message, it took more than a day and a half, so this situation happened two nights in a row. I stayed for 3 nights. While the situation improved once the owner contacted this person, I'd have propably searched for different accommodations if my stay was longer, as this guy created an unpleasant atmosphere after that. Some people also weren't taking shoes off in the house, resulting in very dirty floors since it rained outside. The whole place needs more cleaning. It's quite dusty, windows are dirty from inside, and grout in the bathroom needs serious scrubbing. Would be nice if there was a bath mat as there is nothing to step on. The ceiling fan looked like it's about to fall off when turned on.
Great and safe location, very nice neighborhood, spacious room, easy access, 8 min walking distance from Subway. Washer and dryer available, fully equipped kitchen for cooking. Grocery store nearby.

Canada1.The room smell very bad, like people use to smoke in and smell like moisture. 2.Someone let there pads with a lot of blood in the bathroom and this was smelling very bad and not hygiene at all 3.The bed need to be changed its was not comfortable and make a lot of noise.

CanadaA Stranger listening to my every move sans announcement. I was so frightened after learning i was not bymyself. Something came out of a room looking like it hadnt been out the entire winter. It was a person apparently in a catatonic state.I couldnt tell what it was tbh...i believe it was a female. Finally an alarm sounding off the entire nigjt. Never again. Never say Never but i mean it. Its not safe. Horrible stay and night. thks

United StatesI loved the area, the other guests (I got super lucky that they were all so nice, respectful, quiet, friendly, laid-back, considerate etc. Everyone was either sharing little food and candy items, or just generally keeping super quiet in their rooms lol.) the owner's responsiveness was great and I loved how self-sufficient the place was. It felt similar to having your own place, while at the price of being able to share. After my first couple of weeks, I saw that a few places were cheaper, (two at almost half price) but there was no way I was switching.. I just loved it here so much. It was such a bargain and great peace of mind, especially for an emergency trip that lasted a month... that I just stayed here and extended two more times. The security setup for each room is intuitive and great, too!

CanadaNo AC, no wash-bowl in Room No electric Iron in rooms. Just one Electric sucket for devices, No intertainment system, slow wifi Someone came and was knocking at the door for over one hr, i could not sleep. The worst one that, a stranger batched into my room at night while i was sleeping, there is no inner manual door lock for added security, someone accessed my door, without knocking and bumped on me while i was asleep and disturbed my sleep.
