We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaI stayed in the hotel back in May and there was no charge for parking at that time. $15 per night is expensive and adds up on top of a room rate at $800 for three nights. Restaurant was under staffed. Waited 30 mins to be served at breakfast and ended up leaving. Two servers in place. Dinner order was mixed up. Felt overall that staff were not prepared for busier times. Staff were kind and polite just was frustrating overall. Other guests were walking out too.

Great hotel with a wonderful sitting area and dining table . We had a great room with a wonderful view of the water. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly. Location was great as the boardwalk was right outside our hotel and we walked to everything. The on-site restaurant was so good we never ate anywhere else! Excellent food and servers.

I booked room only so cannot comment on the breakfast. The harbour view suite was better than excellent - very large with separate bedroom and bathroom. Extremely well equipped with electrical outlets and USB ports. Two TVs, one in the main room, one in the bedroom. Bed very comfortable. Walk in shower and a large vanity unit for the basin. The lifts/elevators (two) were fast - very clean and spacious. You can access the walkway to the parking area as well which cuts out the steps down to it near the front of the hotel. Plenty of parking spaces with a ticket giving you in/out privileges. Walking distance to the town and a number of bars and restaurants. If you like fish and chips then. along the boardwalk, is a small hut selling freshly cooked and very tasty food (excellent prices too) - they are open Tuesday to Saturday, 12 noon to 6pm. Fabulous.

Given that I booked 6 months earlier, and that it was not my first visit at the hotel, I found that a bit disappointing. Rooms are in need of modernization. All is clean, but there is a general feeling of things being a bit old.
