Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Time taken whent checking in to get front staff attention. Parking lot as big trucks parked adjacent and opposite to each other blocked path in out had to go around to get in and out.

The only issue I had with my stay was that it was noisy in the morning from staff and people in the hallways and also if there were people in the room above you, you could hear quite a bit of noise from them. I don't think this was an abnormal amount of noise though, I think it's more because I'm used to living in the country with very little noise
I liked that the room was clean and prepared when I got there, and they provided bottled water and coffee for your stay. The pool and hot tub area was enjoyable and warm and clean. There was a bathroom with a shower next to the pool area for you to use before and after swimming that was really convenient. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. The location was really convenient and you can park right in front of your room if you are on the main floor.

I didn't appreciate a few bugs crawling on my bed... but I took into consideration that there is outside access to the room & so the bugs may have found their way in that way... maybe while staff was cleaning & had the door open for fresh air. Room was maybe not as sound proof as some - I could easily hear people talking in the hallway close to my door, but it wasn't for long periods of time or at night, so it was fine.
I really enjoyed the pool & hot tub! Perfect temperature & not horrible strong chlorine. I like that the Smitty's Restaurant was just a short walk down the hallway & the food there was delicious, even though the wait time was a bit long. I was not in a hurry, so it worked out okay. Would definitely stay at this place again.

I loved the fact Smitty's was connected to the hotel. The staff in the restaurant and lounge were very helpful as well as the front desk staff.

It is our second time to stay at canway but the room we had has a bad bathroom water drain. When you shower, water flows very slow so your feet are soak on dirty water. Same thing with the sink when u brush. Hope they do something. We are disappointed

The tile that they have surrounded the pool and hot tub with is not anti skid flooring…it is extremely slippery and I came so close to wiping out as soon as I stepped into the pool room. I actually pulled a muscle and if not for my bf, would have fallen. That is not the kind of tile for that purpose. It is like a sheet of ice when wet. Also, the sauna does not work. We turned it on when we first entered the pool area and 45 minute later it was still barely warm.
The staff are absolutely amazing. Very good value for the money and lovely having a restaurant adjacent.

The schmittys restaurant and lounge were terrible. We walked in, and no one greeted us. And no one asked to serve us. They weren't too busy. But obviously, they didn't want to serve us.
The pool was great. The rooms were excellent. The staff I interacted with were all very inviting and great customer service.

Room was very pleasant, clean and quiet. Liked that room was accessible from parking space in front of the unit and accessible to the inside of the hotel through another door. Very comfortable beds. A very nice facility at a great price. Would definitely stay there again.

The toilet is to small.
