I had traveled for work and wasn’t expecting for the “porch” area/backyard to be so shared with other travellers, but everyone was very nice. A great way to meet people!

Such wonderful, friendly, helpful staff! Fantastic views, very comfy beds. Loved having fridge and microwave. Would definitely go again.

The ad on Booking.com shows a cabin, whereas this is a motel and cabins. It should be more clear when you book which you are getting - we thought it was a cabin and it was only a room - although the room was great.

There are not a lot of food options u less you drive 16-20 minutes. Minor issue but good to know in advance.

The location is amazing. Right on Mavillette Beach. Room was a bit outdated but it was very, very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Beds were clean and very comfortable. The beach is absolutely stunning.

We stayed at the Cape View hotel after arriving on the ferry and having dinner in Yarmouth. The drive isn't long. What a cute place! We stayed in room 10, so we had a view of the ocean and could hear the waves when our window was open. The retro vibe is fun. Huge room included a queen bed, small refrigerator, microwave, and a few dishes - bowls, plates, glasses - and a coffee maker. We enjoyed making a light breakfast from food we had brought and sitting outside our room watching the ocean while we had our coffee. (No coffee mugs seemed odd, but we had our own). They have a very cute sauna that you can use as well. All in all a great stay!

The bathroom is tired and definitely in need of a renovation.

This little motel is very unassuming and old but it has a lot to offer with its proximity to Mavillette Beach. The brand new management team Nancy & Wally are wonderful and we could see are working hard to spruce up the property. They were very hospitable and gave us some great recommendations. Nancy’s restaurant recommendation was the best restaurant we have experienced on our trip so far. Our room provided a spectacular view of the beach and we enjoyed the Adirondack chairs outside our room to just sit and relax and enjoy the ocean. The bedding was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean.

When other quests smoked outside the smoke filled our room if our door or windows were open. With no air conditioning had to open windows.

We wanted to stay longer!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was amazing. We slept with the window open so we could hear the waves on the beach. The bed was super comfortable, and it was a king size. The room was really clean.

The kitchenette was very basic and cramped. There’s only one burner and virtually no counter space. The microwave is old and should be replaced because it doesn’t work well. The bedroom needs a door or curtain because it faces the bathroom and gets all the light if someone uses the bathroom during the night.

Excellent location close to the beach. Very quiet, very dark sky at night. The bed (cabin 2) was firm and very comfortable.
