The property is conveniently located close to the main tourist attractions, with a WeGo bus stop right in front for easy access. The host is very welcoming, and I appreciated how clean the place was. The room had plenty of space for two people, and the breakfast served is definitely worth trying.

The room and the inn in general were really cosy and warm. The staff was also very friendly and nice. Great pancakes for breakfast. It's also at a walkable distance from the falls.

The lodge is absolutely stunning, but the best part is the kind hospitality of Robin and stuff and the amazing breakfast in the morning: the french toast is to die for and I cant thank enough for the wonderful stay in Niagara Falls.

the blinds in the room do not block the light so we all woke up very early, but breakfast was not served until 9 ...

hostess was friendly and helpful. we had specific needs for food and she made a big effort to accommodate. rooms are very big and comfortable, comfortable beds.

Lovely old home gracefully restored. The breakfasts. Home cooked special buns, pancakes and waffles. Something different every day. The host Robin very helpful.

Check in and check out time are a bit constraining

Beautiful house, comfortable room. Good breakfast where all guests share a big table and get an opportunity to speak to each other. Easy to walk to the falls (30 min)

The bathtub very uncomfortable curtain much too close for washing your body. Can be dangerous if not good balance getting in n out of tub nothing to hold onto. Bathroom also needs a table or counter to keep your toiletries.

Very convenient the wego bus stopped right in front of property. Parking on site. Robin is amazing host.

Relatively off the central part but we knew it and didn't mind because we had car. Spacious attic with comfy beds and fireplace made our stay very nice although climbing the stairs with luggage wasn't easy

We didn’t get the room that I had booked. The blinds in the bathroom had some slats missing. Had to throw a blanket over it. In the morning, we could smell cigarette smoke from downstairs.

The balconies were lovely. View of the river was pretty. Breakfast was amazing .

This is a charming comfortable vintage inn located close enough to all the activity of Niagara Falls but just enough removed being on river road to be calm and relaxing after a day out. With a WEGO stop at the front door you have the option to leave the car to head downtown. The staff are friendly welcoming and attentive and the breakfast hot and tasty. The property provides wonderful spaces to relax and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Being decorated for the holidays it was wonderful to sit in the lounge and enjoy the lights the fireplace and the atmosphere. With free parking and access to a common kitchenette, the Chestnut Inn is a wonderful home away from home. Thank you Robin for making our stay so wonderful. We can't wait to return. 😊

More flexibility around Breakfast timing since some guests wanted to depart a little earlier and the hot breakfast is at 9am though a breakfast bag was offered. Windows didn't close all the way which resulted in a chilly room (did not use the heating system). It would be nice to have instructions for the TV (eg what channels are available, what streaming services are available). Smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways...perhaps guests smoking in their rooms??

Very good location to Niagara Falls. Robin was an excellent communicator and was kind enough to allow us to secure our bicycles inside. Good after hours check in system. Breakfast was huge! Our King room was very large with a balcony on the lower roof which we enjoyed! Free parking was also very much appreciated.
