Everything was in order and as expected from the booking and website information. There was nothing remarkable to note as not "likable". Everything was good!

Selected this property online not knowing the area and we were looking for a place on the way through to the Cape Breton Highlands and the Cabot Trail. This location worked out perfect with a great view of the ocean and straights between Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Island. We stayed only one night but would have been quite comfortable for a longer stay. The view from the top of the hill was gorgeous! witnessed a beautiful sunset over the water. The owner James was very helpful and courteous. He provided a thorough orientation of the cottage, and provided great information for shopping for groceries and places for dinner about 10 minutes away.

We liked everything.

Lovely, comfortable cabin. It was roomy and outfitted with all needed for cooking and grilling. The bed was comfortable. The view from the front of the cabin was beautiful. We only stayed one night, but we would have been happy to stay longer.

We loved the whole experience. The cottage itself was very nice and clean. It came equipped with pots, pans, plates, cups, forks, knives, ect. There is also a BBQ ready to use.The cleaning personnel made sure that the garbage was done daily and also made sure we had clean towels. The property had beautiful scenery. The staff was beyond nice and accommodating..

There was no tea/coffee in the room, although there was both a kettle and a coffee maker. The cottages are not in walking distance of the nearest settlement

We were upgraded to a larger cottage, which was very spacious. The cottages have stunning views across the bay. The owner was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

It was clean on the surface but could use a little extra such as cleaning the mini blinds and the wall behind the toilet. Starting to look worn on the outside, needing some paint, but overall we were very happy.

The location is absolutely gorgeous. The view was amazing, we even watched the fireworks in Port Hawkesbury miles away from our deck.

Great stay, the view amazing. Walk to the bottom of the garden for the Celtic Trail. The cottage facilities were perfect. Our host suggested The Cove restaurant 12min drive away on other side of the causeway. Food was delicious, plus live music Thurs, Fri, Sat.

For the ideal comfort of guests, it would be great to include tea and coffee sets in the cottage. That way, there’s no need to go out to a coffee shop first thing in the morning for a refreshing drink.

Wonderful cottage with a stunning view! The place was spotless — perfectly clean and well-maintained. The hostess was incredibly helpful and hospitable, making us feel very welcome. A peaceful and quiet location, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!
