Chris was an exceptional host! The property is in a very quiet neighborhood. The rooms were well-equipped with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms and the common living space were kept pleasantly cool during the summer heat. Chris made us feel very welcome upon our arrival and was always available to ensure our needs were met. Highly recommend!

We had a 2-night stay here, and I highly recommend this place. The hosts, Rebecca and Cris, were very helpful. We had a little problem with the stove (which was our fault because we were using a different pan HAHAHAHA). A minute after I messaged them, they already went to check in with us to see the problem. Not gonna lie, the service and the hosts' hospitality are top-notch compared to the other stays and hotels we've been to. Also, it's a 10-minute walk to Starbucks, McDonald's, LCBO, Shoppers, and many more! We will definitely book this space again when my best friends and I want to hang out!

Nothing really, it was perfect.

It was so comfortable and quiet! I am a person with hearing sensitivity and I struggle a lot finding places where there’s no noise, but this place was exceptionally quiet and the environment was calm all day and night, perfect for a good night sleep. The room was spacious enough for a couple and you also have your private space for kitchen, laundry and bathroom, so it almost felt like living in your own tiny apartment. The hosts were super kind too, and since they’re in the property you can ask for help in case of anything. It was a great experience indeed, i definitely would come back if I’m in town again!

I kept bumping my head into the towel rack in the bathroom. Low ceiling.

The king size bed was very comfortable. A dresser was nice. access to a full sized kitchen was nice even though we did not cook at all during our stay. Wi-fi worked great. Their check-in direction was very thorough. Told me exactly where to park and where the entry door is located by a diagram. Having Britta water filter was a nice touch. We left some clothing in the dresser by mistake. Chris and Rebecca were kind enough to hold them for us. Would definitely book again if we return to Toronto.

Location, but I knew in advance I would have to walk to go to the subway. It was ok as the weather was cooperating. Nothing you can change here ! :)

The location was great. the property was gorgeous, the garden in the front was very beautiful and we were able to take some photos in it as well. The hosts Chris and Rebecca were amazing. Rebecca even offered to take our photos when she saw us in the garden trying to take our own photos.Their communication was excellent.

Modern Lux Studio is very well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The hosts, Chris and Rebecca are delightful and very accommodating. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. We strolled a few minutes to and from Shepard West station and caught the train into Union Station every day for $5 each, each way in justv25 mins. Nonhasssle with traffic or parking

Good location - you can just take metro to downtown. Quiet area and close to supermarket. Very good bed and fine kitchen. Nice and caring host. Gave us late check-out and always very respnsive. Great place for visiting Toronto and areas around.

Well connected via Sheppard West station (about 1.5 km away), but still quite far to the city center (when we were there, the trains were often delayed due to track work and took 45 minutes instead of 30).

Super clean and cozy accommodation in a quiet residential area. Large comfortable bed, good bathroom. Very experienced, friendly and attentive hosts. Parking space available. Private entrance to the accommodation at the side of the house. The studio is small but very well thought out and equipped, including the kitchenette. We especially loved the French press for fresh coffee in the morning. The large main window overlooks the back garden of the house (south facing). It was very quiet at night and we could watch squirrels in the morning. You can slide part of the window open so that fresh air comes in (there is a mosquito net). There is also a washing machine and air conditioning (neither of which we used). We had a very enjoyable five days here visiting Toronto and Niagara Falls.

it didn’t look like the photo I was shown from the listing and the kitchen / walk in area looked run down - also there was a BOOK of rules. I get having expectations but a book of rules is a bit much.
