This time the coffee machine was really odd. Do not recommend. Made a mess and ended up just going off site.

The room was really big and clean, the pool was very nice, and the staff were amazing. We arrived very late and the staff gave us some extra time to check out which was very nice of them and greatly appreciated!

It was very pleasant. If I had had more time I would have used the pool. I ate a salad at the bar. The salad and service was good. For some reason although $100 dollars was taken from my credit card at reception the server behind the bar still insisted I pay for my drinks and food on a credit card. There were only 3 towels and took forever to get more towels so we could all shower. The pool was not clean at all. It didn't stop us or the many other families from having fun, but it still was gross......debris in piles in the corners, the salty taste of Lord knows what, and the massive amount of long hair that would tangle on your fingers......

The staff was friendly and helped us fish out a lost eating in the pool after it had closed. The room itself flowed well for our family of 5 and had plenty of space to relax.

Near by construction. The parking lot was crowded luckily they have the conference centre parking lot. Although it’s a bit further from property glad it’s available.

Well overall it’s decent, pretty high priced for what you get. Pillows are horrible, too hard. When checking out I asked for receipt and young girl at desk said she couldn’t provide it saying I needed to contact booking.com for it. So I kinda got the runaround for receipt. Called today and they did finally email it, girl today was very friendly and apologetic.

Not that it was a significant issue, but our room was facing the inner courtyard and pool area which is lovely to look at (and super convenient if you have kids) but can be a bit noisy with the kids playing in the pool. Also, the attached restaurant has a flow over area into the courtyard which does create a bit more noise into the later evening hours. If you like the ambiance of the inner courtyard filled with tropical plants, you’ll love this place, but if you are looking for silence, you may be disappointed.

The rooms are spacious and well stocked including all necessary bathroom items (ie body lotion, body wash, shampoo AND conditioner), a mini fridge AND a microwave (didn’t expect that!). The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and fresh. The highway is just one road removed from the hotel so proximity is super close without the road noise!

The beds (2 of them) were uncomfortable. The TV was not easy to operate to find & watch regular TV channels. No guides on how to operate the TV remote, etc. The bathroom was in dire need of an extreme clean. There was dried fruit left on the carpet in front of the floor lamp. I spotted the missed garbage immediately, it was not in some hidden spot!

As I’m in a leadership role in Housekeeping, I tend to notice the finer details when staying in hotel rooms. In our bathroom, there were a few hairs left behind from a previous guest—under the shower curtain and around the trash bin. This is a common oversight in many hotels and didn’t impact my overall experience. Both the landline and handheld phones in our room weren’t working initially. I was able to troubleshoot and get them functioning, but with mobile phones, this wasn’t a major concern for us. Public areas could use a bit more attention. There was a piece of trash near the bar entrance that remained there for the duration of our stay, which I ended up picking up as we were departing. Additionally, while heading out for dinner, I noticed broken glass in the hallway. I picked up what I could to prevent injury to other guests, especially since there was an event going on at the time with kids. I informed a staff member and suggested they vacuum the area to catch any remaining shards.

Great view of Kamloops, friendly staff throughout the Hotel, lots of space in the room, comfortable beds, and great water pressure in the bathroom.

Way finding could use improvement. The door card key lock didn’t work and we had to get new cards. The cards were a bit finicky to use. There was a chlorine smell in the atrium.

The bed was very comfortable. The property was clean.
