Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Pancakes were inedible and unhealthy. They came out of a machine....cute gimmick but they were thin and gummy.
Breakfast was ok...nothing special. Coffee however was good.

The shower curtain could be a sturdier material and the gym could be better set up and maintained.
The hotel is really conscientious in making the rooms accessible and spacious. The breakfast was adequate. They also seem to make efforts to be environmentally friendly/sustainable with their washroom supplies and cleaning practices. The foyer was very welcoming and the staff were warm.

We were at Hotel 3 nights and the breakfast was the same every day. A little variety would be nice.

Not a dealbreaker, but I wish there had been a reading lamp near the chair & ottoman.

Nothing, everything was great!
Very spacious and a really nice family feel to the lodge. Staff were very helpful and allowed us to eat our evening meal in the dining area. Lots of information given about the local amenities and we loved visiting Maple Creek, as well as Cypress Hills. Breakfast was great. Make sure you give the Rafter R Brewery a visit, great beer and super friendly people!

We had no complaints. For improvement we'd suggest upgrading the fitness room. The Bowflex is not an effective multi-machine and only one person can use it at a time. More and heavier dumbells (at least up to 50 pounds) and a bench would be great.
This is a newer hotel, very clean and modern. We had a great 2 bedroom suite that was well equipped. The property is well situated to explore Cyprus Hills, Fort Walsh and even as far as Grasslands National Park on a day trip basis.

We had to ask for a refill of the shower gel. We were accommodated in a room with a shower for disabed customers, even though we are not disabled. The shower floor was very slippery and when we asked for a slip mat we learned the hotel didn't have any. This could be remedied.

The disability access is less expensive than the regular room. I did get the queen room one night and disabled access another. They forgot to charge me the extra money for the queen room and they said it’s more because it’s bigger, but it isn’t. The room is the same size and you get a much larger bathroom in the disability suite which takes a bit of room out of the main space which still has plenty of room. They should be the same price and keep disability access rooms open for those whom need them.
New building that is bright and clean.
