Breakfast service a little slow but it certainly wasn’t a major complaint.

The breakfast was tasty but the hot plate was very long in arriving at our table, possibly because we weren’t told it was available until we had eaten cereal and other cold choices.

The stairs up to the room are a bit narrow.

The marvelous attention to detail and consideration of guest requests was exceptional. I had mentioned in my reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary and Rose put us into the Hearts and Flowers room - an homage to romance. We found an anniversary card on the bed, chocolates and a fresh bouquet of flowers. The bathroom featured a Jacuzzi tub large enough for 2. The breakfast was delicious with homemade muffins, eggs, etc served at individual tables. There was a comfortable sitting room on the main floor and a generous selection of snacks and water bottles in the small fridge. The TV received a wide range of satellite channels and the WiFi worked well and was easy to access. The location was easy to find and quite close to Fortress Louisbourg. Rose is a fastidious host who pays close attention to every detail to make guests feel comfortable and special. She made our 56th anniversary one to remember. I would stay here again if we ever return to Cape Breton. Rating: 11 out of 10.

The A/C was on high and the weather was chilly. I was unaware that the room had a remote control. I called for help and was promptly helped.

We had a great stay. Little fuss as we arrived. Our room was well decorated and offered enough space. Breakfast was very good and they made me decaf coffee.

It met our exact expectations, nothing I would change.

Breakfast was lovely, there was lots of options like freshly baked blueberry muffins(delicious), yogurt, all kinds of drinks and coffee. We started with a lovely bowl of fruit and the main part of the breakfast was very lovely, it was a dish they typically didn't make but for the folks that were there several days it was a way for them to switch it up, glad we were able to try it out :) Started our day on the right foot!

Hot water not so hot, reserved the king bed with jet tub, but you had to fill the jet tub, or shower with only hot water on to be confortable. Would have been nice to have a warmer jet tub to soak in before it got cold.

Friendly host, great breakfast, property well kept and clean. Nice selection of games, books and movies with available snacks and drinks on the main floor.
