We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaOur room was decent but very dated. However the hotel is undergoing renovations. The bathtub in our room was not very clean. It had peeling paint and hair inside.
Check in was quick and easy. The location was perfect. We had a fantastic view of the waterfront! The pool and waterslide were wonderful!

CanadaBetween 1230 at night and 3 o’clock in the morning there were people running up and down the hallways going from one room to another room, slamming doors and being extremely loud. A lot of laughter, a lot of loud talking when others were trying to sleep. Next time I will ask for a room on the top level away from people so that I could sleep better.
The breakfast was exceptional. Lots of food lots of options. The staff was so friendly and it was a very clean hotel.

CanadaHeating system was noisy. Noise in corridor and party room after 10 both nights we were there. A hand shower and microwave would have been appreciated. The tub had two dings in it so did not look very inviting. Paper copies of hotel and local information as well as menus in the room would have been appreciated.
The food, service and friendliness of staff at the Eave were outstanding! All three of us (professional woman 43, retired women --70 and 80) were very impressed. I appreciated the grab bar in the tub. We liked the little nook with the table and chairs in the rooms; we had two rooms. Great fridge in the room; lots of room for juice, leftovers, etc.
