There was absolutly NO negatives!

Where to start??? When we pulled up, I wasn't sure, until we checked in,then it was amazing! The gal at the check in took me to the room , which was outside and a few steps down the street. When she opened the door to the room, I was blown away!!!! The room was one of the most amazing rooms I have stayed in!!! Absolutly beautiful, the washroom was incredible! Had a fireplace in it as well as a heated shower floor! The rest of the room was beyond words. We had supper in the resturant and from the minute we walked in to when we left it was first class,! The food and the service were second to none! The owner Dean was very gracious and our server Joya was amazing! If you dont stay here you are most certainly missing an incrediable experience! The BEST place in Digby!!!

Only had stairs so had to carry luggage to room. Not a big deal but could be for someone not physically capable.

Room was very large and equipped with every everything you need for long or short stays. Close to downtown so it's a short walk to restaurants and stores.

Absolutely nothing.

This hotel sets the standard that every hotel must meet. My wife and I travel 6000 miles a year on motorcycles. Corporate extraction has taken over the majority of hotels in America when on a road trip. Expensive, cleanliness issues, value, service, employee training and customer service reduced to the barest minimum. We travelers have been conditioned to accept this. This hotel matches every requirement experienced when traveling Europe and Asia. If this hotel was a chain, it is the only one we would stay at on our travels.

My one suggestion is that rubber mats be placed in the showers as it was quite slippery. The parking lot is small and was full when we arrived so one of the girls put a pylon on the street so we could park and we were able to stay there all night.

This was our second stay at the Dockside. We loved having a balcony this time as it was a perfect spot to have our morning coffee. The room was spacious and clean. We had everything we needed. The two young girls carried our suitcases up the stairs for us. That was so helpful. We had breakfast and two dinners at the restaurant and the food and service was great. The bathroom was amazing!

The room was spacious,well appointed, quiet and impecccably clean. Users will have one set of stairs to negotiate the upper suites The premises have been expertly and tastefully renovated, and an excellent restaurant is literally within a few steps with a view of the harbour. Parking is available on the nearby street (with a dockside pass) or in a small parking lot adjacent the suites. Highly recommended.

The staff was eager to help us take our luggage upstairs. Wonderful restaurant attached. Great location for whale watching stop over.

When we drove up to check in. There was only parking on the street and it is a busy town, so we had to park a bit away and walk. As the evening went on, spots opened up and we were able to park close to where we stayed.

Room was Wonderful! New and modern. Heated floor in the shower and fireplace in the sitting area. Well designed. From check in to check out the staff was friendly and helpful. Location is directly downtown and easy access to everything around.
