The highway was quite busy.

The cabin was cosy, comfy and very well equipped. Karen is doing a wonderful job.

While there were 2 fans in the cottage, it did get quite hot. Having an extra fan or one on a stand to help move air thru the unit would have been nice. Also a king size bed would be perfect.

Excellent location with well appointed cabin that facilitated use of the kitchen facilities. Loved that it was nice and clean and in great shape - appeared recently updated.

Very clean and comfortable. It was great to have an equipped kitchenette. Easy walk to restaurants and the beach. Watched cruise ships going by. Also had visiting deer on the property.

Everything about the driftwood by the sea is amazing. Perfect location, short walk into town plus the beach is right across the road. The owners are beyond kind and helpful and have made it feel like a second home. With cooking facilities for those nights you need a home cooked meal!

Could use some locks on the windows, so the windows can be left open a crack for ventilation, yet not affect security of belonging left unattended during the day.

The shower in the cottage is extremely small The road outside was busy therefore noisy. However once inside the cottage it wasn't an issue and the bedroom was at the back of the cottage therefore quiet.

Really liked having cooking facilities, comfy lounge/ dining area and seating outside on the veranda (amongst beautiful hanging baskets) The cottage was spacious and clean.There was lots of local information available in the cottage which was helpful. Appreciated the tea, coffee, creamer etc. provided in the cottage. Karen the host was very friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities on site was a bonus and Karen even gave us laundry capsules for free. Parking was right outside the cottages. Lovely to see deer wandering around the site every morning and evening. Great location right across the road from the beach and a few minutes drive from the attractions of Campbell River.

Very convenient on main drag. We had a cottage & loved it. Also, having a coffee in the morning, or a drink in the evening, on the beach across the road was extremely nice. The deer on the property were cute too.

The plumbing was quite loud. We only noticed this when our next-door neighbor turned on the water in the morning or at night. The shower fits one person, but even that it's a bit of a tight squeeze for a larger person.

The first I liked a lot about the cottage is the designated living area with a dining table. This makes our almost-a-week stay much more comfortable. I also really enjoyed the ocean view, partially obstructed however, from the dining table. I also found the kitchenware to be surprisingly in very good shape, compared to many other vacation rentals I stayed at. The cottage is also clean and has enough room for a moderate amount of luggage. The location is great as it's in town and doesn't take long to get to grocery stores, restaurants, and EV chargers. The no-contact check-in was also straightforward.
