Check out time is too early.

Duck cove in is well located and close to Cheticamp where there is access to lots of restaurants and ameneties. It looks more humble at first glance but the rooms were a great surprise- spacious, clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. The hosts are very hard working and manage the property mostly on their own. They left the key at the door for a late check in and were able to accommodate us in the lobby and dining area as we waited for one of our party to finish their golf round after the check out time which is early at 10:30 am. The gentleman who runs the business was super kind and even warmed my lunch for me and offered me plates and silverware inviting me to use their beautiful dining area with tables by huge picture windows opening up to wonderful water views.

The location is a bit distance from Cheticamp. So if we have to drive for dinner and back, the road maybe a bit dark.

The room is newly renovated and very clean with a lot of towels.

The room was very bare bones. As nice as the bathroom was, there were no safety features, such as bars in the bathtub/shower, for seniors. That is important to us. There were no outlets for USB ports. I am just suggesting a bit more modernization.

The room was very clean. The location was so easy to find and we had a great view. We enjoyed being able to sit outside of our room. Friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom seemed to be newly renovated and well kept.

Lovely location with a beautiful view. Spacious and comfortable room with effective air conditioning. Spotless bathroom and room. Best breakfast we had in Nova Scotia, not included but worth paying for. Coffee available at reception. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking available right outside the room. Highly recommend. Restaurant available a few minutes drive away for dinner. Overall a very good experience.

The coffee machines with coffee, cream and sugars should have been in the room. We had to ask and were told we could come down for coffee, not good. These things were given to us in the end, not without a tug of war.

Photos show the nicer suites (that I assume are more expensive) and have balconies, and kind of gives the impression all rooms are like that, but the more standard rooms are all on ground level and are in a seperate building. Not an issue, but just to be aware the photos can set a different impression.

Comfortable, clean, welcoming, and aligned to the ad on booking.com. All was what we expected for the price, and we had a good stay on our roadtrip.

It was a very basic motel room. The carpet needs replacing. Smoke wafted up from smokers sitting outside beliw our balcony, which compromised our enjoyment of the balcony. There was no coffee maker or tea kettle in the room. I had to request a plug for the tub. I expect more for $250 per night.

The room was very clean, and there was a nice updated bathroom. It had a nice, new fridge, and outdoor space with a great view.
