Instructions for check in were provided in messages to Booking .com but links were removed by booking .com . Had to ask for a direct text to my phone on day of check in and this worked satisfactorily.

Location very central in Stratford and close to theatres and restaurants. Excellent instructions and information when they were received. Amenities as advertised with Fresh milk and creamers in Fridge.

Minimal exits in case of fire. No exit signs. Fire on the corridor would have us trapped. Bed very uncomfortable

The television did not work because the remote control batteries had expired. There was spare batteries in a container under the television, but not the right size (AA where the remote required AAA). The mini fridge; although cute, was only a dorm fridge and should be upgraded. As it is a mini suite, a small microwave was sorely missed.

Breakfast was walking distance from the property. The coded entry made check in and check out a breeze. There was a dedicated parking spot with fun placard not far from the property. We chose to go to Joes Diner at 155 Eerie Street for breakfast. The food was plenty and the prices were reasonable. Features was another option, but the prices were a bit steeper.

My only objection was the noise of the AC as it clicked on but it did keep the room very comfortable. We were in the midst of a heat wave. There was a long stairway to manage but we knew that when we reserved.

Enjoyed the eclectic decor. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location was very quiet. Lovely view from the window.

Unfortunately, the room was not cleaned and ready for us upon our arrival -- even though we did not "check in" (self check-in at this location) until nearly an hour after the official posted check in time. I guess the housekeeping staff experienced some kind of problem. That notwithstanding, the property owners / managers got that situation rectified and provided us with a lovely bottle of Ontario wine to make up for the inconvenience.

Edison's is a great location for an overnight stay in Stratford, especially if you are attending any of the shows at the Stratford Festival -- just down the street from the Avon Theatre. The rooms (we have stayed in both over the years) are spacious, comfortable, great comfy beds and relatively quiet being on major streets in Stratford.

Excellent location, especially for Tom Patterson theater. Easy self-checkin with smooth communications. Rooms hotel-sized but more nicely appointed. Walking distance to restaurants and river. Just right for a couple. We'd stay again.

Difficult to find parking spot. One small suggestion - a mat for the tub to improve safety. The sound of the air-conditioner switching on and off disturbed my sleep.

Excellent location. Very creative decor. Helpfulness of Bronwyn in assisting us to find our parking spot. Selection of books to browse. Helpful info. in the room regarding places to eat, etc.

I don’t recommend more than two people to stay in this room. I would have liked it more if they had a microwave and a bigger fridge.

My friend and I had such a good time here!! We felt really safe as female travellers because the doors lock at several points to enter the building and it’s in a very central location of stratford’s downtown area. The room door’s lock is a bit finicky but we figured out that you need to wait a second after punching in the code for it to unlock. Everything was clean and well maintained! We went for strolls in the morning and could pop back inside if we needed to rest. It’s a small room, but they’ve made really good use of the space such as placing the bed with plug outlets on each side. Communication was great. We found the included parking spot to be especially useful as it was close by and available 2 hours before check-in time. I’d stay here again!

Great location for eating out downtown and walking to the theaters and river. Free parking is a 5 minute walk. Comfortable room. Easy to check in. Good price.

Location was ideal for overnight stay to take in a show and meal out. Although parking is a block away, it is a reserved spot and came in handy when we arrived early and most other spots were taken up.

Accommodation does not provide breakfast. BUT it sure provide great Keurig coffee. And the room is unique. Definitely not your typical hotel room. Location is perfect. Everything within 10 minutes easy walk.

Location is great. Only three suites with a private entrance. We loved the Swan suite up a short flight of stairs with enormous windows overlooking the river - and an ice cream parlour next door! Decor was great, two comfy sofas, everything to make your stay pleasant. And our hosts were super lovely.

It would have been nice if Booking.com did not delete the links that were included in the messages to us from the Inn. Once we contacted the Inn directly though, they sent us a separate communication with the info we needed.

The room was very cozy and the view from the window was very relaxing. It was nice having two couches.
