Wonderful location close to many trails and pet friendly restaurants. The cabin was clean and had all the dogs necessities including a welcome basket. Would absolutely stay here again! The hot tub is a bonus!

Well located off #3 hwy. Older motel style but well maintained and very clean. Proximity to #3 hwy was convenient, we did not experience any noise from the hwy. Staff were friendly and accommodating. On site free parking. Fernie has an abundance of both fast food restaurants and sit down locations. All services. Very adequate accommodation.

We had the noise of aluminum cans and glass being loaded into the garbage right outside our door during our morning. Vehicles leaving are easily heard. I use a Cpap, and it was fortunate that I brought a multi outlet extension cord. There were no USB outlets.

Everything was great. Super clean. The woman at the front desk was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We got in late and tired after a long motorcycle ride with tons of dirty laundry- not only was the laundry free, but they supplied soap and the woman at the front helped us to keep it open late so we could finish up.

There are a lot of really nice restaurants in walking distance (particularly Bramasole which was incredible). The staff was particularly friendly and we were pleasantly surprised to find a hand written card and small present in our room for our 10 year wedding anniversary. That was a very nice touch and is much appreciated - we will be back the next time we visit Fernie

Had to close the window cause could smell someone smoking pot. Would have been nice to have a Keurig type coffee machine.

They catered to our dog with food, and treats, and a nice bed.

(Really, the place was great and these are just suggestions for improvements. I'd still highly recommend staying here.) The A/C unit was a little old school and it was hard to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. Would love to see a tea kettle in the rooms as well as the coffee maker that was already there. Doesn't seem like the rules are really enforced (e.g. there were people smoking right next to no smoking signs, people were backed into parking stalls in front of signs that said "do not back into stalls"). In the shower there was just a shampoo/body wash from a great local shop but missing the conditioner. Would also be great if people could buy a bottle of that same soap/shampoo etc. at the front office as the soap shop wasn't open during our visit and there is a sign in the room that says where to buy the items from. Would also suggest to have sheers and curtains as opposed to just blinds on the windows for more privacy and complete blackout during nighttime. Last thing to be nit picky is there is a usb alarm clock where you can plug in your devices to charge but the outlet is not close to the bed, so had to dig for an extension cord under the bed since my device is a usb c.

Booked this room last minute and it was a great decision and did not disappoint. Very nice design and style and most importantly it was a super, super clean room. It was also spacious enough to bring all our gear up in the room and still have breathing room. Amazing soaker tub and rain shower head. Comfy bed and a nice sofa to sit on and a little table with two chairs and counter in the room with a microwave and coffee maker and fridge/freezer. The bathroom itself was a beautiful design, too. Overall if I have to go to Fernie again I will stay here without a doubt. We were on the second floor close to the main road but overall this was a very quiet room.

The pet friendly rooms had doors to outdoor areas. It was a lot quieter then most but we did have some people who walked like elephants the second night.

I think the $40 per day rate for a dog is overpriced. I didn't like how the front desk is not staffed 24 hours.

I had to wear earplugs to dampen highway 3 traffic noise but I am a light sleeper. My husband slept through it all.

The view of Fernie Resort on Lizard Range was spectacular from 2nd floor. Within 2min. From hotel you can walk along Elk River to downtown and further. We plugged our level 1 EV charger into plugs right in the parking lot which was bonus.
