There’s not much not to like, it’s on the ski hill so is very peaceful in the summer, but quite a drive if you want to do activities in town

Clean, comfortable, would be very hot as the summer temps rise, there are two fans that are somewhat helpful and kept us comfortable

There was no staff working there and so getting extra towels etc wasn’t easy.

The pool and hot tub were great! We also loved the communal BBQ area.

Issue with the door, took some time to get ahold of someone, lots of back and forth but once someone came out, they were good. Room was equipped but starting to get old! Could use salt and pepper, as there is a full kitchen.

Great location on the hill, wonderful heated pool and hot tubs. Good communication and instructions from host.

If it would be nice if some basic cooking supplies were provided such as al foil, baking paper, paper towel and maybe cooking oil. As international travellers these are not items we would bring and they would have been very useful.

Location was excellent but you really needed a car as the lodge was situated at towards the end of a winding road and the only quick access to buy lift tickets or go for lunch was to ski or walk across the snow. We originally were going to get a shuttle direct to accomodation but so glad we had the car to go into town for food supplies etc . The spa was lovely and hot but you needed to get in there early as they got a bit crowded, there were 2 though!

The sofa could be upgraded - certainly had a good life and its wear and tear was obvious.

Location location location! Was amazing, true ski in / ski out, the lodge was great, jacuzzi was fabulous and the staff were always responsive and helpful. The small ski store was also an added bonus. The added bonus was the resort side views.. just stunning!

Room was very warm and the bed was very soft. All heating was turned off, and we had to leave windows open overnight.

As is often the case, furniture is a little tired and worn. Need to invest in more comfortable bed.

Great location. Very clean and well kept. Newer appliances and nice feel overall. Access to ski hill is easy and convenient. Basic but nice hot tub area.

Bed plush which I like, but too soft for us. Way to warm inside...heat was off and had to open door to cool down, so we couldn't use the gas fire place.

Very quite, clean and well appointed kitchen. Location great, ski out/in, good parking. Hot tub was great.

There was a bit of maintenance going on at the property however it didn't impact us too much.

Location is amazing, one of the hot tubs was closed for maintenance however enjoyed using the other one. Kitchen was well equipped. It's a nice property and we enjoyed our stay.

Fernie lacks long groomers for intermediate skiers. The groomers tend to be short. The intermediate skiing is concentrated mid-mountain where the snow is often not as good. At the lower mountain beginner area, the snow was awful, bordering on unskiable breaking crust.

The location is fine. It's an easy drive from Calgary International Airport, but no so close that Calgarians would flood the resort when there's a powder dump. The terrain is so good and easily accessible.

Hot! We went in October and the temperature was quite warm 20-25 degrees Celsius. There is no air conditioning! I can’t imagine how hot it would be in mid summer. There were two fans and neither worked adequately and they were needed!

The kitchen was well stocked with pretty much all things you would need to cook a big meal with! Clean.

Only hiccup we had was we were confirmed by text from the front desk that we could check out at 2pm and the next booking arrived at 1 as they said they were told they could check in at 1pm. We rushed and checked out by 1:30. But it was a bit awkward and because there is no actually staffed front desk we didn’t have anyone to refer to

There didn’t appear to be staff onsite to do general clean up etc, (the same mud on the floor and elevator were still there two days later). The kitchen and bathrooms in the condo itself appeared clean, however there were layers of dust on tables, sills, chairs, fans, etc.

Location was good. Glad that there were multiple fans to use as the rooms were stuffy and hot.

Check in was supposed to be from 5pm to midnight as per the confirmation email. The location has zero staff and the building locks at 11pm. Thankfully we arrived at 10:30pm. The contact numbers from booking.com and those posted at what I believe would have been the reception put me on hold briefly then asked me to leave a message, I did this twice with no return phone call to this day. I was able to use the emergency contact phone number from the guest laundry room for when the washer/dryer doesn't work to get a hold of another human and he was able to give me the door code to enter the unit. At this point we still didn't have key cards to access the building after hours or access the pool and hot tubs. I was contacted on our second day via the booking.com apps chat option. We did eventually get the key cards but it wasn't until later in the day after skiing.

Clean, lots of space and very well equipped kitchen.
