Renald and Jose could not have been nicer and more accommodating! From the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left, I was treated like a friend. The breakfast was delicious (omelet, potatoes, juice, coffee, toast, and a variety of wonderful homemade jams) and served on the beautiful outdoor porch. The room was clean and comfortable and the home is just a five minute walk across the bridge to the heart of the town. If I ever return to the area, I would not consider staying at a different property; an overall wonderful experience!

A bit noisy at times since the B&B has a busy road on one side and lots of trucks go by during daytime - construction is booming in Magog!

Staying at Amour et Amiti is a unique and memorable experience. The B&B is located within a few minutes' walk of the lovely waterfront park on Lake Memphremagog and the Rue Principale, which is the epicenter of restaurants in town. Renald and Jose are very personable and attentive hosts, and quite interesting to talk to. The atmosphere is laid-back, with lots of places to sit in shaded gardens that surround the house. The room we stayed in was quite spacious and equipped with a refrigerator and coffee maker. Breakfast was delicious, thanks to Jose's skill in the kitchen, with a choice of omelet or crepe with fruit. Having breakfast outside on the porch was delightful. We received great value for the money at Amour et Amitie. Strongly recommend.

They accommodated my dietary restrictions with a delicious breakfast. The B&B is ideally located close to shops and restaurants. The location was perfect for taking a morning stroll along the river.

Renald and Jose are fabulous hosts--they are multilingual, warm, friendly, and helpful in every way. The breakfasts are exquisite. You order your preference and every thing is served to you at your table in several courses artfully presented and delicious.

Nothing! There was just enough parking beside the home, off the street. The gardening around the house was terrific.

Our room was so inviting with a very comfortable bed and pillows, seating chairs and good light, and a refrigerator and coffee maker in our room ( and cream in the refrigerator). We had a small but perfectly supplied bathroom, with a great night light. The hosts were so friendly and breakfast was gourmet! We had omelets, juice, coffee, and croissants and toast with homemade jams. Jose is truly a professional chef, and Raynald was so kind and invited me to feel free to practice my French with him. We enjoyed talking with them both as well as meeting other guests. Location was great too, with the main business street just a block away, across the River ( and bridge). We were offered advice for nearby restaurants and cuisines, and a discount card was available for some. The street had abundant other interesting shops as well. There is a world map in the dining room with pins marking homes of countless visitors from around the world. It appears to be a much loved and visited B&B.
