The staff was great, a young man helped us with our luggage to our bedroom on the 2nd floor. There are many good eating options nearby.

The windows could do with some maintenance, as could some of the woodwork. I stayed in two different rooms and one mattress could do with replacing.

The property is a lovely old building and was clean and comfortable. It is really central, in a great location close to the public gardens, local sights snd shops. It has a homely feel and is very relaxed. It has air conditioning and was very quiet. I slept well.

It is an older building so it has older building issues, though the management says they are in the process of addressing those, it's been such a busy season for them.

The breakfast was light and healthy, many options.

The downstairs room we had felt a bit damp and musty. Running the ac was necessary just to keep the humidity down. Although it was made clear that a ‘continental’ breakfast was provided, it was quite meager in what was offered. After the first day we opted to go to a cafe down the street.

The staff was lovely and extremely helpful with suggestions and directions. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice meeting fellow travelers in the breakfast room.

breakfast room is too small for the number of clients, the tables are very close to each other and not sufficient. breakfast itself could be more creative

the room was big, except the wifi which was not working very well, everything else functioned well in the room. the bathroom was cleaned after our first night (we stayed 2 nights) and whatever we had used was refilled. good choice with the paid parking, though it would be nice to have the parking included in the price

The breakfast was simple but the dining room was too small for the number of guests looking for a table. There is no elevator in this historic building.

The room was comfortable and the location was great. It was a block from the Public Garden and the waterside was 1/2 mile. The room was clean with complimentary water and fresh fruit. Staff was friendly with easy check-in.

The continental breakfast is simple and good but starts at 7:45 am, so it might be a little late for some. I stayed in the front part of the building and it was quiet, but the street lights were very bright. Parking is first come first served, so you might not get a parking space.

Historic building centrally located. Minutes from Route 10 which is a frequent bus route into downtown. Because the hospital is across the street, it is generally quiet. Staff are very friendly.

Our room fronted the street. One of the windows was open and we were unable to close it. We were therefore woken by traffic noise. We mentioned it to staff the next morning and they managed to get it closed so our second night was better.

Garden South Park Inn is in a great location with an easy walk to Halifax waterfront. Room was a reasonable size. Breakfast was good but the room it was provided in was too small for the number of people staying.

The bed was old, noisy and quite small. Especially for someone ~2m tall, it was not a pleasant bed. The mattress was very bumpy and krieky.

Very nice and cute hotel. Easy parking on the street, free in the weekend. Easy walking distance to the waterfront of halifax, with many restaurants, shops and other amenities. Room was a decent size, facilities were nice and clean with good water pressure. Decent, but not spectacular breakfast.
