Breakfast everyday is the same. Mattresses and pillows are horrible. Cleaning needs improvement, especially in the bathroom.

Found air conditioning far too noisy so had to turn it off to sleep, then it was too hot to sleep plus we could hear the next rooms air conditioners. Also found the pillows too firm.

Breakfast was good and more than enough for us. We thought it was going to be very meagre from the reviews but was pleasantly surprised.

Resort was obviously being refurbished. Upon entering the grounds, it looked unkempt .

The location was perfect, close to the main street with restaurants and close to a little beach around the corner.

The hotel exterior and interior looks very dilapidated. It needs lots of investment. Also value for money - way too expensive for the facilities and services. I would get a cheaper all inclusive rate for an exotic Carribean destination. Our room door was jammed and another room (our friends) fridge wasn't cooling and their table was broken. There's a need for a serious refurbishment of the entire property. The parking lines too are almost non-existent.

Great location. The cleanliness of the room. The staff was always willing to help. The ease of check in and check out. We were a bit early and the staff were very helpful in granting us an early check in. The breakfast was okay.

The room needs to be painted and needs some tlc The restaurant was very slow. The outdoor decking needs repairs. The pool was very small for the size of the property. Lake Simcoe beaches were nice but cost $43.00 for parking for a day.

I liked the view of the lake. I liked the size of the bed. The staff were nice. The pool was okay. The location was nice.

Even though our room seemed to be freshly painted, the job wasn’t carefully done. The exterior of the property looks a bit uncared for. Landscaping and plantings are haphazard. Surprised that while there was access to the lake from ladders on the dock, there was green ‘guck’ in the water - not sand. Wooden ramps to the restaurant patio should be replaced, as should the stairs to the place where you pick up ice. The indoor pool water looked possibly unsafe.

Great view of Lake Simcoe from the dock. At one point there were chairs on the dock, but they were removed for a special event and never replaced, even though we made a request for them. Breakfasts offerings were good. Comfortable bed.

Need to ensure all amenities like washcloths are in the room ! Didn’t like feeling like breakfast was policed - give the number of people in the room tickets not one ticket for all - some people like to sleep in but should get breakfast as well later :)

Immediate response to my questions. The air conditioner had to be repaired and I was given another room for the remainder of my stay. Very nice staff, front desk, and Sébastien. I am planning to return for another time this summer.

The pillows were very uncomfortable. The room didn't have any small table with chairs to sit. There were a lot of dirt under the beds. It appears that they also host private events, and during our stay, there was one day that was quite noisy outside our room with people lining up and taking photos at the deck. We have a baby daughter who goes to bed early, so we were not very happy with the commotion outside of our room. The restaurant is overpriced for the size of the dish.

The location was good, close to Sibbald Provincial Park. The room was spacious and fairly quiet, right beside the lake.

The bed was so soft that I never slept most of the night(I prefer a firm bed). They do not supply face clothes. As you drive around the hotel to find your room, the area looks slum like. The room numbers are so small it was hard to find our room. The breakfast buffet that was included in our room rate was not served that morning. Disappointing.

The view of the lake was exceptional. The hotel/motel is close to amenities. The staff was great.

Says pet friendly when you book the room, but you find out right before you get there that it isnt. How many ppl were turned away or lost money on the refund policy due to this? Little suspicious.

The room was freshly painted, but there was paint on the bathroom fixtures. The king-size had a bit of a dip in the middle of the mattress, and one average sized person sitting on the edge of the bed caused it to tip forward. The room was described as "lake view" but it faces the other building and you can see the lake if you look at a hard left angle. As renovations continue, I hope there will be more enhancements, but we enjoyed the property and our stay! Would stay again!

The property is right on the lake, and we enjoyed the lakeside patio and dining space. Looks like they're investing in renovations to upgrade and modernize. Has a very relaxing summer camp vibe, which for us was quite charming. Great location, easy walk to the local restaurants and businesses. Parking was great, loved access to the dock, and was close to the public beach. Reasonably priced food at the restaurant and decent buffet breakfast was included.

2 of the lamps were not working, and the quality of the breakfast wasn’t good enough like it was the last time. But staff were nice and place was clean.

Parking lot was not plowed adequately with very icy patches and pathways. No salt at side door. Pool was freezing-unusable

They used to offer a good breakfast before , but during our stay this time, the options were very limited. Unfortunately, the pool and Jacuzzi were out of service as well. Additionally, the lakeside area could be better maintained. The AC was too noisy 😐 If you have children or are seeking a lively atmosphere with lots of activities, this might not be the best choice.

The resort is beautiful and very relaxing, perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway. Rooms are clean and spacious. Decent restaurant.
