Only point was no daily bathroom clean, which would not have been a problem if products were available to do it ourselves.

Nice location - pool area small but nice. We knew the hire was out of town and enjoyable for that. There was a full shared kitchen which we made use of - excellent.

Gorgeous views, lovely hosts, very nice and cozy room, common areas very comfortable and clean, they have everything you need. While it's only a short drive from town it feels more secluded.

The bathroom we had (Chouette room) was incredibly small though just about room for a toilet and a shower, with a sink in the bedroom. If you were on the large side it would be a challenge getting in!

Stunning view from this property and a gorgeous plunge pool (not heated but definitely refreshing!), a little out of town but only a short drive in an area with some lovely large houses. Comfortable bed with two comfortable chairs and a small table in the room which was great - hate it when rooms that are clearly for two people only give you one chair! The shared kitchen was a real bonus and we were able to cook dinner and breakfast. We had a room without a view as it was cheaper but you really don't need a view as there are so many places to enjoy it from around the property. Each room is also allocated a parking space which makes things easy when there are multiple guests staying.

For me, having a down pillow would have been perfect. I find that almost every place I stay, pillows are too hard. I forgot to pack my down pillow for this trip. The location is a little removed from eating establishments so we had to drive a bit to find places to eat.

Our room was extremely comfortable with a balcony overlooking the river. The bed was good. I was a little surprised when we first arrived to discover that our room was one of several on the second floor of a building that had a kitchen and dining area on the first floor. One can actually cook in the well equipped kitchen and eat in the large dining room which could be a plus for groups or families traveling together. There was a large refrigerator with freezer in the kitchen which was good for storing food as large refrigerators are always cooler than the small ones found in individual rooms. We were happy to be able to use the freezer to store ice packs. We were fortunate that the group there at the same time we were was quiet.

We had a beautiful view from La Chic en Noir (also called Estuaire?). There was no balcony, but there was one below in the breakfast room that was available. The room was very quiet even though it is adjacent to 2 other rooms. Sunset from the room was spectacular.

There was a lovely communal kitchen and dining area for use by all the guests. Unfortunately one of the other couples staying at the property seemed to think that this was their personal space and when we went to cook some food one evening the lady was really surly and made it quite obvious that she felt that we were intruding in their space. Every time I tried to do something in the kitchen she "tutted" at me and started ranting in French. Her husband seemed really nice and spoke to us a couple of times so I'm not sure what her problem was, apart from I was obviously in her way!

Room was very clean and comfortable and the view from outside the property was stunningly beautiful. We would definitely return if we come back to the area.

Truly only one tiny thing: Some more information or a more precise introduction to the property and surroundings would have been nice. There is a book in the room with useful information about restaurants, the listings are quiet short though and we had to google for more infos about the places mentioned in there.

Incredibly beautiful property, very quiet and nice view on the lake. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking, breakfast on the terrace is just great. The city of Saguenay ist approx. 10-15 min. away by car with lots of restaurants and supermarkets. This place is a huge recommondation for all travellers.

The Sound insulation is quite poor, had to spend part of the night with the guest in the next room that was having serious coughing spells. Maybe he/she was having issues with the serious wildfire smog that unfortunately covered the Saguenay region at that time. It was actually so bad we decided to flee south to get away from that smog, even though we had reserved and paid for 2 nights. Too bad management didn't think it was sufficient grounds for reimbursing the 2nd night.

Room was nice and clean, with big windows opening up on great views. Ensuite bathroom very clean and comfortable. Our room was in the adjacent building, which sits a little higher than the main building. Grounds are well groomed, and seems quite enjoyable (we didn't have time to use the grounds)

THERE WAS NOT REALLY ANYTHING THAT WE DIDN'T LIKE. WE WERE THERE FOR 2 NIGHTS AND REALLY ENJOYED OURSELVES. THEIR BREAKFAST SERVICE WAS NOT WORKING WHEN WE WERE THERE BUT WE VISITED THE AREA AND CERTAINLY WOULD HAVE BEEN PLEASED WITH IT IF IT WAS FUNCTIONING. THERE ARE SEVERAL EXCELLENT BREAKFAST VENUES IN CHICOUTIMI SO FINDING A GOOD BREAKFAST WAS NOT AN ISSUE.

THE FACILITY WAS EVERTHING THAT WAS ADVERTIZED AND MORE. YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED WITH YOUR STAY!!!
