Lovely property, room was nice and clean, comfortable bed, Nepresso machine in room. Basic breakfast but was nice to have some grab and go items. Restaurant in lodge next door was great for dinner. Would recommend.

Not an issue for us but you do have to walk up one flight of stairs to reception/guest rooms.

Lovely quiet place to stay. Roomy and comfortable. Nice tub to soak in after a hike. Rowan on reception was very friendly and informative . Excellent tip for The Jeffrey Room restaurant next door which had lovely food and excellent service.

    The breakfast options were disappointing

The location is very nice, far from the city, in the middle of the wood. Close to the snowboarding The room was pretty big

Breakfast was poor (no meet, no vegetables, no cheese), only eggs, bread, cookies, tea/coffee, yogurt. Hot tub didn't work It was hair in a bath

They have a Sauna. The side restaurant great food with a Colombian cook.

Is more for winter time. Summer time is so so… lots of mosquitoes.

The room was clean and spacious. Beautiful location.

Would have liked a bit more selection for breakfast. It was a basic continental breakfast. Still better than nothing.

We were on a scouting tour for our Guided Tour next year and had a fantastic stay. That Lodge is just unique, really clean and has a lot of little details. The Manager was really nice and we hope we can come back with our group next year

    Nice wooden house. Sauna.

We were woken up by people both days. As a result, we did not rest properly. The noise insulation of the building and the rooms is non-existant. Given the exorbitant price we paid, I find this quite disappointing.

Check in was seamless, the guy working there was really nice. The room was spacious and had an amazing view. The bathroom was enormous. Hot tub much appreciated. Breakfast was basic but fresh. The pillows were the comfiest I've ever slept on.

No recycling in the room, our first one like this since being in Canada. You may miss AC, we felt the room was fine without it.

    Property response:

Thank you so much for your review, we will work on getting a recycle station in the main area.

I was very impressive about this place.

The only thing is that the restaurant was closed the day that we visited it and we had to head town to have dinner, but it was ok to drive to town.

    Property response:

Thank you so much for your kind words

    Lovely facility and room.

Location was a long distance from town, and an email was sent with directions to enter building with a code for the door. The place seemed deserted when we arrived and had a hard time figuring out which door to enter. Dinner options not good in nearby resort. Breakfast fell short of expectations. Staff person arrived after us and never saw him again until breakfast. You cannot pull your car close to unload and must climb stairs with bags to enter.

Nice hot tub, very clean, though a tad too hot for some. Unlimited tea and coffee in lounge area.

The room was quite small for 4 of us, limited space for bags. Room was only made up for 2 people in terms of cups, towels etc, despite booking being for 4. The lounge was such a nice area, but was used predominately by 2 families with loud young children, so could not use it as a relaxation space in allocated hours.

    Property response:

Anthony, than you for the review, sorry to hear the room wasn't up to your standard, we do have some larger rooms, the family suite and the Loft room that can accommodate 4 people a bit more spacious and the suite actually has 2 separate bedrooms. Im sorry the kids were loud, we try to keep everyone from being loud and disturbing but sometimes that is not possible.

The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the room itself was clean and reasonably comfortable.

Check-in was a nightmare. The reception closes at 7 PM, and this was not communicated ahead of time. When I arrived, the front door was locked and required a code I was never given. There were no signs or instructions anywhere. I had to knock repeatedly and was lucky that another guest heard me and let me in. The breakfast was another disappointment. Despite being included in the price, it was extremely limited and low quality—definitely not acceptable for a stay costing CAD 500 per night. I even saw a guest bring their own eggs and cream cheese because those basic items weren’t available. Also, the room had no air conditioning, which made it quite uncomfortable during warm weather.

    Property response:

Hello Carlos, thank you so much for your review, very much appreciated. We send 3 emails out with instructions on how the check in works and we even send a text on the day of arrival on how the self check in works when you arrive after opening hours of the reception. I am sorry that you missed all of them, perhaps your email or phone numbers was entered wrong when you were filling out the reservation details on booking.com or they ended up in your spam folder. the breakfast is exactly what we advertise on the website , continental we have juices water milk granola cereal, muffins bread jam, peanut butter etc banana bread and Belgian waffles plus Nespresso coffee and tea. Rooms do not have air conditioning, the temperature drops at night to a very pleasant 18 degrees celcius and all rooms have fans in them to create some air flow and all rooms have sliding doors you can open and they have screens to keep the bugs out. I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us.
