Bathroom wasn't the cleanest...toilet, tub surround. Communication was not the best. I also received a call the week prior asking me for my credit card information over the phone. They said they couldn't get it through Booking.com. I felt very uncomfortable giving them that over the phone.

We planned to use the BQ but it was pretty filthy. BQ present, but no dishes etc. Beds were only a double size

Paying $25 extra x 5 nights for a small nonshedding dog (under 20 lbs) $125!!! Room was never cleaned and bed was never made - so the $25 is a cash grab ;-( it used to be $10 Coffee was included but was rather weak and would be nice to have a choice of bun for the complementary breakfast

Inflexibility of breakfast choices so even though it was "included" we opted for breakfast elsewhere.

Great location on the lake with a nice beach and play areas for kids close by . Nice rooms that were clean with fridge and microwave. Free breakfast was an English muffin with egg and bacon and hash brown. Was good for me but if someone wants something different they have to pay for it. Not like most places that offer a selection of breakfast options with feee breakfast. Bed comfortable. Couch was not comfortable. Quiet location. Pet friendly with a fee. Owner was very nice.

The beds were too hard and we found them uncomfortable. Parking is limited in winter, even though the lot is plowed. The motel is on a single foor with parking right outside your room which can make it a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was a good size and kept warm even though it was -25C outside with the windchill. The room was dated, but clean. The free breakfast provided was simple but tasty. We had a couple of small issues which were fixed immediately when reported. It was good value for the money and would be a good choice for snowmobilers, ice fishers or workers travelling for work.

They charge an extra $15 for my fiancé to stay. Should be based on double occupancy and you shouldn’t have to pay for the second person!! Breakfast was just a water down coffee and an egg with sausage or bacon ( go with the sausage ) and no cheese.

It was our first time at this place...we have stayed around the corner the past 2 summers. Check in was not welcoming. Woman who checked us in was unfriendly. Returned to ask for wifi password and Man was also unfriendly and passive aggressive. Told me the wifi password was on a paper in the room...which I never found.

I miss the owners son who was easier to understand and more personable. I don't know if he was doing the maintenance, but the place from last year looks a bit run down. My screen door latch broken, wouldn't stay closed. Poor Chaulking done everywhere takes away from a good looking room. Nice to have restaurant there now. Food was ok.
