Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThe pool was closed. Wasn’t an issue for me, but anybody travelling with a family hoping to stay there for the waterslide, would be disappointed.
The breakfast was fantastic. But I was told by a person who had been staying there for a few days that the day that I had breakfast was the best day. The rooms are updated and clean. Staff is very friendly. The location was great for me because it was close to university where I had taken my daughter for school.

Canada- Ptac was a little too big for the room, within a minute of heat I'm too hot, or vise versa I'm freezing. I was unable to adjust the vents to direct upwards, Not a huge deal at all I'm being very picky. Maybe I didn't push hard enough, I didn't wanna break them. more of an opinion not a real issue. - 3rd floor hallway carpet need to be fixed as it's damaged, stretched, lumpy and a tripping hazard. Looks rough in that spot. (Middle area) - shower head lacked, toilet did not flush without holding lever. - Door closers on multiple guest room doors and stairwell door near my room was extremly loud, Clank then a huge bang of the door slamming all night. They need adjusting on the arm. Swing/latch need to be tightened to slow down the door. My room especially was bad, I slowly closed the door to not disrupt anyone. - Engineering left a crowded paint cart on 3rd near elevator unattended for multiple hours, with alot of spilt paint thinner all over top of cart. Doesn't bother me, but my wife and other guests had a hard time breathing as it was very strong. -At roughly 3:30am on Aug 21 we arrived back at the hotel, we needed a drink. Audit staff member was sleeping in the back office. Me and my wife were quite loud and tried 4-5 times to wake him respectfully. This didn't bother me either as I can relate and it's was a bit funny, the only way I could wake him was using the lobby phone to ring FD. He woke quickly. He was accommodating so I quickly forgot about this incident. Honestly was not the biggest deal. It happens. The part that really bothered me was the next evening around 1:30am on Aug 22. we went down to the lobby to receive our Uber eats order. While sitting in the lobby the same front desk worker appeared to be checking in 2-3 people. My Uber delivery driver was very confused and did not see us sitting in lobby waiting, so he approached FD staff member and interrupted to ask if he knew of anyone waiting for...
Location was great. Renovations don't bother me. Hallways are nice, love the wallpaper and carpet colors. Parkade was a very nice addition, spacious and safe. My room was very clean and welcoming. Guest room hallway doors are beautiful. Lobby was impressive, 2 large elevators made almost zero wait times. breakfast was delicious. 99% of staff were very accommodating and friendly. I appreciate that alot.

CanadaDrop the $15.00 sur charge for the additional vehicle. Seem rather chippy. otherwise, excellent.
The facade was under reno's as well as the pool area, but we were offered the use of the pool next door, (We declined). The building was clean, neat, well organized. Desk staff were prompt, helpful, and efficient. Room was not quite ready when we arrived, but we were offered coffee in the lobby while the staff did the final touches to our room. Room was neat, clean, and smelled nice. It was exactly as requested, twin queen beds. Beds were very comfortable, pillows (4) were perfect. Room had a mini fridge and an almost new smart TV. Bathroom was neat and clean, with shampoo, cond, and body wash supplied. Everything worked great. We were joined by one of my children for the stay, we a little disappointed we were charged an additional $15.00 for her to park in the parkade. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, hot, very tasty, with the exception of the scrambled eggs. There was plenty of seating in the breakfast area, and was monitored by staff that were both friendly, and helpful. (Well done). Check out was fast, and efficient. Overall, I felt these people were really trying to maintain an excellent place to stay. I would say they succeeded, in my family's opinion. Well done, I will see you all again.

New ZealandThere was a small table with 2 chairs to use around breakfast area. The table was not ideal especially with the 2 chairs, you couldn't sit properly to eat breakfast or even to relax.
Location access to train service. Breakfast was ok, more fruit would have been ideal. Room was clean & comfortable.

CanadaThe wooden apples as the only fruit choice very bad. This is summer, Canada has a lot of fruit right now. A bit more understandable in winter.
The location a bit tight if more than 2 people getting food. Large sitting area very good and having coffee separate was good too.

CanadaThe hotel is located near the McMahon Stadium and University of Calgary, very convenient. The staff were excellent. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was marvelous. The only issue during our stay was the fridge cannot be closed properly and has no freezer.

CanadaIt's a quaint hotel but the rooms are updated. The pool was under renovation. Although we were allowed to use the neighboring hotel's pool, it was packed. View from room was not pleasant. The Ice machine on our floor was not working.
Check in process was a breeze. We were given an adjoining room which was very nice for the children. The room was overall nice, clean and updated. Bed is comfortable we had really good nights of sleep. Thermostat was easy to fiddle with. Great selection for breakfast. Parkade was a convenience and a security feature that we liked. Close to downtown.

CanadaThe pool was incredibly over chlorinated. Walking into the building you can smell the chlorine. We tired to go swimming the first night but only lasted around 30 minutes because it got hard to breathe and our eyes hurt. Not sure if we went on cleaning day or what the issue was, but it was so bad it bleached our swim clothes.
Breakfast was simple but had plenty of options and everything was cooked well. Our room was pretty quiet, we couldnt hear our neighbors at all. Very clean
