CanadaWe had booked for 4 people but the kitchen barely had any plates and dishes (definitely not 4 of anything) and the few pots and pans that were available were very scratched and in bad condition. The walls were extremely thin, I could hear our neighbours snore, talk, shower... all day/night. Our unit also did not have a working TV, when we complained about it, the front desk simply said they knew it was broken... but they did not seem to think it was important to tell us at check in or even give us a discount or so... Breakfast was included and not bad, however we stayed 5 nights and it was literally the same every day. We loved Campbell River and it's amazing nature, but we're definitely not impressed with our stay at Heron's Landing.

This is an odd place. The bonus was that we had a huge suite, with lovely view and a washing machine and dryer to use. But breakfast was very poor quality and there were a few faults with the room, including electronics. I'm sure staff are doing all they can, but the owner needs to invest some money to bring this hotel up to parr really, it feels old and dated sadly.

The rooms were spacious. Having a fridge in our unit was a huge bonus.Great location, walking distance to restaurants and beach area. Beds were comfortable. Loved the Murphy bed! We only spent one night which was just enough time for dinner, shower and a goodnight sleep

SloveniaThe hotel is right on the main street, next to the beach. It is not the newest, and it needs some TLC. The main bed's mattress would have to be changed, but the Murphy bed was great for the 3rd person in our group. The free breakfast was toast, butter, jam, peanut butter, waffles, yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausage, coffee, tea, and milk.
