Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaI was disappointed that breakfast was not included in the price — in my opinion, this is not up to the standard one would expect from a hotel of this level. It even felt a bit humiliating when I was asked at breakfast whether I had a voucher.
I appreciated how quickly and professionally the staff responded to my request to move us due to noisy neighbors.

CanadaBreakfast was a dissapointment. Meal seemed to take a long time to arrive. We ordered off menu rather than buffet which probably made a difference. Staff did what they could but seemed to be lacking in numbers and expertise. Takes a long time for hot water to make it up to the top floor for showers.
Room and bed was comfortable and clean; Staff very friendly. Quiet

CanadaThe staff were not very friendly. I greeted them, and they looked at me and then away on more than one occasion. At the end of my stay, I had an overcharge on my room. They called me by the wrong name, and I had to call 3 times to get it dealt with.
The location and hotel are good.

CanadaWhen we first got our room… it was in the unrelated section … the room smelled, my husband’s allergies immediately kicked in, ac didn’t work and the toilet didn’t flush… we went to the front desk and shared our concerns… honestly didn’t think we would stay… the front desk immediately put us in a renovated room and it was a totally different experience!

CanadaThe toilet was loose (I did report at the reception when checking out). It wasn't great having to pay for parking. Also, there was no signage on the building. I actually went to the Holiday Inn by mistake as I could not find the hotel. The breakfast choices weren't fantastic, that opted me to rather have a high protein breakfast elsewhere. These are not complaints, merely observations. Location wasn't great. I do think I would have been more willing to pay more and drive further if I knew what the location looked like late at night as I stayed as I was attending a conference in the city. I wasn't completely comfortable with parking my business owned vehicle in an open parking where there was people walking around in the parking lot (not a secured parking area) and having to walk to the hotel with beggars laying on the pavements.
The room was beautiful. Hotel was neat and clean. Was extremely happy to receive 2x bottles of water when booking in. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. The coffee in the room availble was also good, whereas I have experiened some poor choices at previous hotels. The soaps etc. was also great products. Even though I do not think there were enough staff available at the front desk upon arrival, the lady was extremely friendly and helpful.

SlovakiaAlthough we liked location, when you look outside, it doesnt look so nice (sorry im from europe :)). You even cannot move curtains - they are fixed. What we didnt like much was breakfast, very limited offer for this kind of hotel and brand. For 1-2 stay it is fine, but if you are there for a week or more you become desperate. Not saying also that some breakfast are heavy for your stomack and when you have kids, there is only one menu always. The idea of 7 days limit on free Wifi? Its the first time i see it. The room was renovated but toilette didnt work well. And bedside table was not available to each bed, so it was not always convenient to handle your belongings. The parking is in the shopping mall, which is not bad idea but when you are going to the hotel in midnight, we didnt feel safe.
I liked location - to have access easily anywhere esp. midtwon shopping mall, also the room was clean and nice. Beds were VERY comfy. We liked the fridge. coffee machine, TV. Also staff was very nice all the time. They are 24/7 which helped us during check-in and check-out

CanadaNo way to close curtains to darken the room during the day. Traffic noise could be dampened with triple-pane windows.
Very friendly and helpful staff at front desk, in breakfast room, in pub. Excellent food in the pub - Chef Azit is doing amazing work. Surface parking was very convenient (disabled slot near front door) with option of underground parking. Love that TV cable is SaskTel MAX! Pillow selection excellent - includes firm, medium and squishy. Perfect for someone with neck issues. Plenty of USB and AC ports to recharge computers/phones, etc.

CanadaThe hotel was under construction so we had to use another parking entrance a little farther away. The future plans for the hotel were available and the construction looks like it will nicely improve the hotel.
My wife and I greatly appreciated the downtown location of the hotel. We were able to walk to the Teachers' Credit Union Place to enjoy the evening "Come From Away" show. The room was clean and comfortable. Our grandson enjoyed the indoor pool. The continental breakfast was just what we needed to hit the road on the way home.
