How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Frustrates me that these places use single use plastics for breakfast. Place needs to grow up. To the review that commented about the TV's not working.. they still don't work.
It was in the right place for our journey.

The only negative comment is about the three TVs around the lobby areas that all had something wrong, showing a dark blue tinted picture the whole time that made viewing. Seems the staff are aware of the problem but didn't seem to overly worry; probably used to it. My only comment about this would be to either fix/replace the things or turn them off until they are fixed or replaced.
Breakfast was the usual hotel fare, not a huge variety but OK and decent enough. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean housekeeping were responsive to needs. Rooms and facilities in general were clean.

I wouldn’t walk from the train station to the hotel after mid evening…..thankfully we had no problem, but the potential exists.
Staff were very accommodating and pleasant, we were able to get something decent to eat after arriving after 9:00 pm. Hotel is very clean and well presented, large rooms, location is convenient in the centre of town.

Breakfast was a bit basic. Restaurant/bar area not very inspiring.
Comfortable room, good seating area. Pool...didnt have time to use it! Good parking and central location.

Breakfast for a Hyatt was very average ! Not a vegetable in sight, no tomato mushrooms etc and only boiled eggs and no muesli only sugary cereals or oatmeal ! Sliced melon no berries as advertised !

The online mapping directs you the rear entrance of property and that's closed. Minor issue but my first time using property and was a little confused.
The host accommodated me safely locating my motorcycle within eyesight of desk, this was a unexpected offer and I was appreciative for it.

The only negative of our stay was the pool was very cold. We went swimming at 4:30-5:30pm. The pool was way too cold for me to swim. It was a cold, snowy day s as well.
The staff was excellent, very friendly. Best breakfast of any place I have stayed. So many choices for the breakfast.,

We absolutely loved it here. It was close to everything, and fenced with security. Breakfast was by far the best. Good service, good times for breakfast too, don’t have to wake up early and rush down. Even provided to go boxes. The pool is tiny with no hot tub which was disappointing; however, right beside there was canfor leisure pool which was amazing. At the hotel, I was happy to see there was an assist lift to get in and out of the pool for people in need. Staff were great, not intrusive but there if you need them.

Location. Unfortunately witnessed multiple people overdose and need medical services outside the hotel. It doesn’t feel safe to go outside at night especially if you have to park in the back parking lot.
The rooms are very spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. Had a great nights sleep.

It was busy at breakfast and space was limited. Certainly not a deal breaker as it was the start of the spring break and there were a lot of kids and families using the hotel as a base for their sports teams
