The owners were genuinely nice, and kindly spoke English. The breakfast was fantastic- fresh, unique, generous, and beautifully served. The house feels healthy and serene. We plan on staying here every time we return to Sherbrooke to visit or pickup our child at Bishop's University. Only 15 minutes away.

The window furnishings, though attractive, let in too much light. Bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to that.

Beautiful heritage home with lovely furnishings and art throughout. Very clean (this is helped by the fact that you must remove your shoes upon entering). Breakfast was nicely presented and sufficient to keep you going until lunch. They have created 3.different dining rooms and so we were alone in ours. The bathroom was spotless. Our room had access to a terrace which was nice.

Beautiful majestic house with opportunity of use of all rooms. We enjoyed playing the piano in the large living room and breakfast was served in a stunning dining room. Breakfast was simply extraordinary - a real treat thank you. Hosts were attentive to all our needs.

Breakfast, while very tasty, was a little smaller than expected. I would still absolutely recommend the property, just note it for friends so they knew to enjoy everything offered and/or could plan for an early lunch.

I'lle de Garde is a quaint B&B run by a lovely couple. We were upgraded for free to the King suite which was roomy and with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. Walkling distance to restaurants and downtown.

Minor traffic noise but nothing too disruptive. Not a criticism really, but there were too many choices for tea at breakfast. I selected one that was great but now wonder if I should have taken one of the others. I think I will need to go back and find out.

Beautiful house in nice location with good views from window. Room was nicely laid out, well furnished and decorated. The breakfast was fantastic with examples of excellent local produce and served in a style that made the family style meal a real experience and highly recommended, for that alone!

I did not like that we had to leave to continue our vacation in Quebec City. ;)

The hosts are the most lovely people I have met when staying at a Bed & Breakfast. My sister has food allergies which were immediately accommodated. Parking is easy, the room and common areas are well-appointed and comfortable. They were eager to provide recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The breakfasts were beautiful, filling and very tasty. It is apparent in every aspect that they love their B&B and enjoy being hosts to visitors. Their English was excellent so there were no difficulties in communicating. I would return to this B&B.
