Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Breakfast was really bad, eggs were green, food was cold, and not enough of it. We went to McDonalds our second day.

The food needs to be upgraded wasn’t very good not fresh it was hot in the room lots of flies not lot of room to sit…

the main reason we booked here was for the pool and it was bing repaired and no offers to to give voucher for dining or other pools nearby was a big disappointment

We are gluten intolerant and asked if the staff member knew if gluten was in the sausage patty at breakfast. They didn’t know. Would have been helpful if they could have offered to go and asked the chef/cook for us.
Pool, hot tub were great entertainment for our 3 year old.

The juice... the "bread" items could have been better.
The location for breakfast was good and the facility was good. The food was okay. We only had breakfast the one morning as we would rather go out to a restaurant. I like how fruit was provided.

There could have been more of a variety of cereal.
The location is great. Short drive to downtown and beaches and nice walking trails. Breakfast had fairly good variety and was kept stalked. Room was very clean and comfortable.

Pool and hot tub were dirty (water wasn’t clear), missing maintenance and windows too. Gym was ok except the mirrors, didn’t be cleaned. Elevators didn’t vacuum the carpet and dirty the wall. I spent from Sunday to Friday and none of above was cleaned. Unfortunately, I used to go there when it was Holiday inn Express and I’ve never seen like that.
The bedroom is very comfy and good mattress and pillows. Personal was amazing very nice and kind.

Bathroom wasn't properly clean, Toilet was dirty and bathtub was clogged returning dirty material Swimming pool was very dirty couldn't be used No vending machine on the floor even though it has a reserved spot. Ice machine was also broken on the floor. Breakfast was OK but the ommeletes are not good, too dry.
Room was cozy and bed was comfortable. staff attended our requests.

We had to ask for the lights to be put on as it got dark in the pool area. It was very dark and a safety risk. The hallway on the third floor was freezing.

The eggs and bacon on the breakfast were very over cooked The hot tub was extremely hot and we could not use it. We tried to use it but just sticking my one foot in, the water was burning hot. We reported this but were told it was the proper temperature of 103. I found out when I checked out that the temperature was 106 and was reset but when we tested the water again on our second night, it was still too hot. We booked this hotel because there was a hot tub and are very disappointed that we were unable to use it.

Location was ideal for the wedding we attended, the grounds left much to desire.. nothing beautiful walking around. The price was a bit much, especially for rubbery chicken patties and strange scrambled eggs for breakfast. The elevator needed a cleaning and was slow.
