Our only complaint is the breakfast is served on very flimsy paper plates and paper cups which we're finding seems to happen regularly in Canada. This is new to us as we're from New Zealand and we never do this there. It astounds us as it's all going into landfill. Surely it's not that hard to wash a few nice breakfast plates and cups and save the environment from more landfill? This is more an observation though, rather than a complaint. The hotel is lovely.

We loved staying here - it has a beautiful view of the lake and the room was lovely, very clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were nice too.

Beautiful location and view. Staff was very friendly answered all our questions and made sure we had a great visit. The lodge is such a wonderful addition where my kids (8,11) loved playing chess and the breakfast was an extra surprise. Just waffles toast and muffins cereal and tea and juice but it was enough to fuel us until lunch. The room was a little tight and bathroom was even tighter but we didn’t spend much time inside and the outdoor space and lodge makes up for it. We wish we would’ve had more time to stay there and I am sure we will be back in the future

Couldn't find ice. A little pricey, but accomodations can be difficult to find during the tourist season so we were quite happy to pay the rate in exchange for the amazing roads and stunning location.

The location was wonderful with all rooms looking out to the lake. Each room had a balcony to enjoy the view. Beautiful golf course next door. Staff was utterly amazing, and bent over backwards to help us with an issue that had nothing to do with the resort. There is a Hot Tub on site, but unfortunately we never found time to enjoy it what with nearby hot springs in Ainsworth & Nakusp.

Breakfast was very poor - no real effort made to entice you back. Toast (one kind only), juice, an apple and coffee just doesn't 'cut it' these days and it would take no effort to add some cheese, cold meats and yogurt, if it is not possible to offer a cooked breakfast.

The room was advertised as lake view. We were on the bottom floor and could only see the lake through a slight opening between buildings. The door had light coming through it during the night and the window coverings were definitely not room darkening and light shone through as soon as daylight started. The air conditioner was so loud we had to decide whether to have it on or off throughout the night. We went back and forth, consequently had VERY LITTLE sleep. Couldn't sit on our deck because there were 2 bags of dog poop sitting on the deck from the previous occupants.

There was really nothing we liked. Arrived within 15 minutes of our stated arrival and were not told in advance that there was no restaurant, consequently we had to go searching for food and most of the area food establishments were closed. The best part of the stay was Jesse at the front desk was very, very good
