This was my second stay as I loved our first stay so much and the second stay did not disappoint. Lovely setting with balcony and communal terrace to enjoy the setting. The views are beautiful and the accommodation is pristinely clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Three critiques: 1 Walk-in closet with only a motion sensor for light took a very long time to shut off. 2 Mini fridge didn’t have a freezer so we couldn’t re-freeze cooler packs 3. TV channels with out a guide made search through hundreds of channels tedious, but many varied programming options

Kootenay Wild Guest Suites was a beautiful oasis with a view. We loved spending our mornings with a coffee looking out over the lake. The room was very comfortable; cool and very clean. We felt at home, and will book again whenever we are in the Nelson and area.

As expected, no food was provided on the property but having some utensils would have been helpful. I didn't ask for any though. Other than that, there was nothing to dislike.

Absolutely beautiful property. Gardens are well kept. Beautiful view of the lake and loungers to take advantage of the view. Some recreational equipment was available. Loved the peace and quiet. Owners were very helpful with information about the area.

Location was great, easy access to Nelson and up to Fletcher Falls and Ainsworth Hot Springs. Richard was very kind upon arrival and gave us great information about the area. Beautiful views from the patio, very peaceful. The room was tastefully furnished and very comfortable.

Unfortunately, all of the restaurants in Balfour were closed. We ended up driving to Nelsom. This isn't the hosts fault.

The suite was very quiet and faced the lake. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. I enjoyed a soak in the bathtub. The suite was very clean. The fireplace was a nice surprise. I'm already planning another trip back.

Just be aware there is no kitchen but they do have a coffee maker and small fridge and provided coffee. But nothing bad about the property if you don’t need a kitchen.

Very beautiful apartment with comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Good location between Nelson and Kaslo. The owners were very accommodating and good with communications.

Beautiful property, very well maintained. Room was large and comfortable. Porch outside entrance to our suite was perfect for sitting for a morning coffee or having something to eat while enjoying view of Kootenay River. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We liked the location. Nice and quiet. We were a short drive to Nelson, or Kaslo, or Ainsworth Hot Springs. Suited our needs perfectly.

Despite the very large size of the suite, we were disappointed that the kitchen area was so small. With the property being so far from places to eat, a better kitchen set up where you could maybe cook for yourself would be a big plus. The property is so nice that you want to hang out there but the lack of a kitchen forces you to leave and go elsewhere.
