The cottage is beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. Love the location next the the multipurpose trails. The owners are very responsive.

The full kitchen (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, etc.) was a big plus for us (one of us wasn't feeling well and dinner reservations needed to be canceled). Very spacious and clean and nice TV. Proximity to rail trail for skiing, biking and walking was great. Overall a nicely layed out space.

Bowls (for soup or salads) would have been nice. Shades on windows should be added as lacy curtains didn't provide privacy or keep out early morning light. Not enough comfortable furniture or good lighting. Wooden chairs were uncomfortable and appeared to be decorative in living room (couch was fine). Only one lamp in living room (overhead fan light provided light but no ambiance). Proximity to road would have been bothersome in summer with windows open.

We love the wood cabin, it was just perfect place for a gateway and perfect place for 2 people

If there was one thing that I was missing, it was thicker curtains on the front window. The La Sapinette cabin is the first one on the property and when we turned on the lights at night, people could see us inside. Simple curtain would fix it :)

The kitchenette provided included pots and pans and cutlery. The bed was comfortable.

Although this cabin has some old Québec charm, it was right by the highway and next to the parking lot. All the transport trucks made it very noisy. There were also many people passing in front of our cabin to and from the parking lot, which wouldn’t have been such a problem if they provided the room with actual curtains. As it was, there was zero privacy and we were on full view of everybody once the sun went down, and were awake as soon as the sun came up. The couch in the living room was decades old, saggy, and very uncomfortable. The only other furniture was wooden kitchen chairs. The whole place was also full of ants during our stay, even in the bed! Staff came in to spray who knows what chemical ant killer while we were out without informing us. We only knew because of the many dead ants around.
