The only 2 things we had to note was the beds are a bit hard but we always travel with a matress pad for this. And maybe a couple more towel hanging spots in the bathroom would be good.

We had an absolutely amazing time coming back to Lakeview Motel since our first trip back in 2022. The new owners are so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Always checking in and wishing you a good morning etc. The room we had was perfect for the 2 of us with a Queen bed, fridge (ours wasn't working at first but was promptly replaced by the amazing owners.) microwave, desk & TV and bathroom with shower. The ability to park right out front of your room was fantastic for both hanging out in the provided chairs or to take off for the day. We also loved having the option to use the pool, BBQing area and fire pit! We met some great new friends due to the fire pit option! To top it all off you're within 5 minutes drive to downtown restaurants, shops and beautiful lake huron. We will 100% stay here again in the future.

Would be nice if the air conditioner was upgraded to cool down the room better on hot days.

Very convenient location and close to beach and downtown. Room was basic but very clean and quiet. Owner and his family were very friendly, hospitable and helpful! 😀

The air conditioning wasn't on when we arrived on a very hot day and was very finicky. I eventually got it working. The bed was very nice, but the mattress a bit too soft for our preference. May be perfectly comfy for someone else, who likes a softer mattress.

The family operating the motel were very friendly and kind, and promptly called me when I left some clothing behind, so that I could pick it up. Much appreciated! The room was very clean! The fridge and microwave were good. The room had a small table and two chairs. The location was close to town and the beach.

The room had a few minor cosmetic issues e.g damaged paint on the ceiling or stained table cloth.

Room was comfortable, staff were welcoming and friendly. Check-in was super simple.

We were aware of two people arguing in an adjoining room and were tempted to reach out to the off site owner. But this settled.

This is NOT a B&B. However the owner recommended local restaurants for dinner after our arrival and also for breakfast. The temperature in the room was quite cool upon arrival, but after we adjusted the thermostat, it was comfortable.

The shower leaked water on the floor. I slipped on the floor a little. TV didn't have a lot of channels, but was able to find something to watch.

The room was very cute. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was upgraded and very nice. Nice location.

The curtains were not room darkening, the porch lights were on all night and kept me awake.

Visiting family in Point Clark, location was great. Bed was comfortable, amenities were adequate. Price point was excellent.

Since I am traveling by bike I wish there were more options for food and groceries within walking distance.

Water temperature fluctuates when someone else is showing in the room next to you

Room was VERY dirty. Floor was all dusty, there was spider webs everywhere and lots of spilled stains on the floor. A simple vacuuming and mopping would make it very good.

Front reception was nice and polite. The motel is well located. Has potential for being really great.

The shower was a bit old. I had a hard time with the smell in the room …not bad but more like cleaning products. I was able to use a room spray to neutralize the smell. Tv not many channels. I couldn’t get WiFi to work but didn’t need it.

Location - Amazing, Mr Syed - He made this visit memorable. His kindness, generosity is praiseworthy. He was always there for all the patrons. ( Does he ever take time off?) We saw many repeat guests and he took time to connect with all. The property was well maintained, grass cut immaculately , prompt service, Quiet location and very conveniently located from the beach, town. Room was of great size and well stocked with all amenities. Mr Syed , made the difference - Thank you

I felt like the floors could be a little cleaner and less sticky. I’m not sure if the price was risen because it was a long weekend but for a small motel I found it a little expensive whereas other similar ones I’ve stayed at weren’t over $100/night. The water in the shower did not stay at the temp I put it at and would change hot to cold and visa versa which was a bit annoying.

It was a cute little motel in a quiet area. Has a small covered sitting area, grass area, small sitting area with fire pit and pool all close to downtown. The staff was amazing. He called us about 1 hour before to ask what time we’d arrive since it was late (10:30pm) just so he could leave the door open and keys inside. We didn’t have to check in. There was no deposit. About 15 minutes after we arrived and settled in he stopped by to check if we were happy with everything or needed anything. Very nice man. As we were leaving the next morning he said good bye wished us safe travels. We again didn’t have to check out just leave the key inside so that was nice not having to check out. It’s a well cared for little motel. Would stay again!

Shower was hard to get on. Had to really pull on it to get to work. Wife couldn't get it to open.
