    The location is excellent. The apartment was well appointed and comfortable.

    Communication seemed to be a theme. We had an issue accessing the property upon arrival (after 9:00 PM). The codes provided took several tries to open the parking. I called the number provided. Outpost had no record of my reservation. That was a surprise. They advised they were going to escalate it to the on call person and that person would call back in less than 5 minutes. After 20 minutes, I finally got the code to work and called outpost to advise them that help was no longer needed. I got a text at 10:00 AM from outpost to see if I was able to get in… We were told as we were arriving (May 16) that the pool and hot tub are out of order. Outpost rep said they were “just notified” by the strata that the pool and hot tub were out of order due to unforeseen circumstances. There were posters throughout the property dated May 13 that these facilities would be closed. Seems communication between the strata and the management company needs to improve if it takes 3 days to get a message across. Shame, since it was the pool and hot tub that swayed us from another property to this one. FYI: the pool and hot tub will be out of order until the end of June as per posters in the elevator. Otherwise it was a decent stay.

You’re right, communication should have been more timely and accurate. While we did receive notice from the strata shortly before your arrival, we must have missed the mark by not cross-checking onsite signage that had already been posted.
