Reviews of Le Germain Hotel Maple Leaf Square 4 stars

Room was fantastic. Clean and modern, with a very comfortable bed having plush cotton sheets. Excellent TV and easy to cast to from a device. Good wi-fi. The room had a Nespresso coffee maker, with coffee pods and coffeemate milk containers provided. Bathroom had a spacious and easy-to-use shower.

The toilet in the bathroom area had a glass sliding door which did not fully close due to the wooden skirting board at the base of the wall sticking out, leaving a half inch gap along the edge of the door. The buffet breakfast was ok but not as good as we’ve had in other similarly priced hotels in Toronto, in terms of the selection available. The porridge was cold and the bacon leathery in texture. The coffee was very good though.

Everything! The room was lovely, and it felt like everything was thought of. Service and care were exceptional until we got to breakfast (they seemed a little confused when we wanted to leave), the food was delish.

Clean beds do comfy .

Perfect location right next to Union station and near main attractions. Room was large, comfortable and clean. Being from the UK, I was pleased to see a kettle in the room!

I did have to move rooms as I was facing the main street which was incredibly noisy all night with traffic. However, moving rooms was no trouble at all and the staff were very obliging.

Fantastic service at the restaurant. The bedding was fantastic. The room was awesome. I liked the ceramic filtered water that was available. The personel was kind and courteous. I had an awesome stay!

There was a panel to select the lighting that was producing light during the night. I suggest adding a cover for it. But it's just a detail!

Rooms temperature control was not responsive. Remained at 22C despite changing multiple times

Location. Easy parking. Staff were pleasant. Room was great.

Snacks and refreshment in rooms are at ridiculous prices. Do not consume the items in the room, Longo’s grocery store is a better option and is next to the hotel. It was also quite bothersome that we paid over $500 for our room yet our friends in the same room style who booked two weeks after us paid only $300. When I asked front desk about this, they said room rates are like gas prices, they change on a whim. Lame response.

Location!!! Especially for a first-time visit, right next door to Union station.
