How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. The building is showing its age but that’s nothing. It’s well kept and once again, the Staff are excellent. We’ve stayed several times and will do so again.
Breakfast and all Staff in general were excellent.

She told us we could have gotten a better rate by phoning the hotel. The room was clean, but the hallways were grungy.
Staff let us get in early and switched from a smoking room to a nonsmoking room for us

The pool was so humid that the windows were green with mould, kids couldn’t stay in there more than a few minutes without their lungs hurting

After checking in, hauling our luggage a great distance after a long day of travel; we did an early to bed aprox. 10:30 pm. We were alarmingly awakened aprox 11:50 pm by an alarm going off in our room. After checking the hallway for smoke or fire, I called down to the front desk to report the alarm. On answering, the duty person said they could hear the alarm over the phone upon which they said ‘so sorry’ and did some procedure to cease the alarm. they said I should also report this to the morning staff at the front desk. upon reporting this to the morning person, they seemed disinterested in the occurrence with no further explanation or apology offered!
too was clean and the breakfast was great

The pool could really use a deep clean, but that didn't stop my daughter from enjoying it. The gym was okay, but some of the cardio equipment didn't even work.
The hotel had lots to offer, breakfast, gym, pool, and many vending machines, all for a great price

Understood it's older, but the green algae all over the waterpark walls, stairs,, no towels, emergency phone didn't even work. The maze of trying to figure out how to get to your room was laughable.
Staff at desk, when they got there, was nice and helpful.

There was a large noisy heater/air conditioner outside our window that was noisy during the night. We did not receive a refund for our initial, incorrect booking.
We arrived the day before our booking, which we had made at the last minute under pressure. Desk staff were very patient and helpful in sorting out the booking, which was a complex process, and settling us in. The hotel is convenient, clean, and well-run. We were happy to have chosen this hotel.

The equipment in room, fridge, was not working upon arrival. We fixed it ourselves as they didn't have another King room and were going to move us to a double queen room. Also, the fan in the a/c unit needed replacing and the seal on the toilet was leaking. However, in the morning when we let the lady at the desk know the issues so that they could be repaired, she reduced our rate for the inconveniences. That was really appreciated.

I couldn't watch tv from bed and had to sit at the desk .Otherwise everything was goid

It seems like every time we go there whoever you guys have working the the breakfast room is always so rude and is so demanding over a stupid breakfast ticket it's not like we're planning on stealing breakfast

The location was right on the highway. Loud semi's all night, gearing down for the stopsign. The pool facility was not safe,the handrail going into the pool stopped short of the last step. The tiles same colour as thr rest of the pool. Garbage at the top of stairwell by waterslide. Very unsettling, looked very old.
The room was cosy, beds comfortable and clean!
