From the moment I stepped out of the car I was looked after. My bags were taken, the reception staff were informative and I was made to feel so welcome. The loft itself was gorgeous and everything I needed for my stay was there. Its position in the old port was brilliant! Across the road from the best coffee and right amongst everything.

The stairs, we needed to go up 5 short flights of stairs, but worth the climb!

It was very spacious and comfortable, especially the bed. The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was very good quality. I highly recommend this place, it was so well equipped. The location was perfect near to some lovely restaurants, as well as being quiet.

The bed in our loft was like sleeping on a cloud. Our loft had a small kitchen and laundry machines available. Would be great for an extended stay. The valet service included carrying our suitcases up the 3 flights of stairs to our loft. The staff at the desk were very helpful and informative.

- We were on the top floor and there must have been a large AC unit right on the roof above us. We felt the vibration when in bed but slept well with earplugs. - The building is located between two busy restaurants, so the hallways smelled like food. - Unfortunately the windows don’t open so we could not let fresh air into the room.

- The location was perfect on a quiet street at the heart of Old Montreal. - The loft was spacious with a nice kitchen and had all the amenities required for our 4 day stay.

The trash pick-up everyday at 3:45-6:00 am woke us up each day. Not much the Lofts can do about that, just no way not to be woken up.

the air conditioning unit was only in the living/dining room, not in the bedrooms, so the bedrooms were very hot even with the doors open (likely only an issue a few weeks per year)

Some directions (written preferably) on how to operate the shower. I got scorched the first time I used it, and then my husband finally figured it out.

The staff were very lovely. I forget their names, but the Italian and French ladies at reception were very kind faced and welcoming. As was the tall bald fella who helped with our suitcases, lovely people lovely place banging location

There were a few quirks to the room just simply because it’s an old building. But that’s part of its charm so it’s hard to say that’s a negative.

Terrific staff, superb location, and great restaurants. The loft was huge especially for being in an older building. We didn’t have a car and I’m glad because it was easier to go by taxi. I recommend procuring taxis through the hotel instead of uber / Lyft because the experience is better.

The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. The loft was immaculate and very stylish and comfortable. We could not have asked for a better location to see Old Montreal. Steps from restaurants, shops and the pier. Close to the Basillica and Bonsecours market. It had THE most amazing shower and loved that it had a Nespresso machine. We ate out, but you could prepare a meal in, the kitchen was well appointed. I will never stay anywhere else in Montreal!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

I didn't like the price of valet parking. My teenage son did not sleep well on pullout sofa. I did not like that we were in the same room.

I liked that our luggage was transferred to the loft. I liked that there was a kitchen and a Jacuzzi tub.

There are no lifts but we had help getting our luggage up to our room. The curtains aren’t very dark so bring an eye mask if you’re intending to sleep in!

Great location in the old town! The lofts are tastefully furnished and the bed is the most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel! The bathroom was huge, very clean with a giant bath tub!

Having to walk up a flight of stairs plus a shorter run to get to our room. But we understand the building probably couldn’t add an elevator. I have a bad knee. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been a problem.

Service was amazing and the loft apartment had everything we needed plus extra space.

Lofts have no lift. Spa bath a bit temperamental. Welcome pack a bit limited.

Excellent location within reach of all old Montreal sites. Vibrant area for restaurants and coffee shops. Loft well furnished and equipped. Restaurant excellent.

Bathroom could use a shelf or something to hold toiletries as our sink was a standalone and also very low. Also four Nespresso pods for two people for two days was pretty cheap given the cost of the room. Tv needs instructions.

Great location. Beautiful historic building. Comfiest of beds. The hotel lobby is so nice to relax and have a glass of wine. Gaspar was amazing food (and we tried some Michelin star restaurants) and one of our top picks. Staff are great!

Slightly musty smell in bathroom, probably due to the age of the building. Would have been nice to have a sheer curtain as well so we didn’t have to draw blackout curtains in order not to be seen by the building opposite .

Excellent location , lots of space for 2 people, good kitchen, staff at the Auberge were very helpful and carried our bags up to the 3rd floor loft.

- No full length mirrors and very dimly lit in the room - In retrospect, probably would have preferred to be in the main hotel with housekeeping as after 5 days in snow the place seemed quite dirty despite being careful about getting our boots off at the door

- Location in Old Port - Size of room, very spacious - Windows looking out were fun to watch pedestrians - Price was quite good for the space - Shower and tub both with good water pressure and heat
