We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaEntrance & exit of property was a nightmare for us. Photos did not explain the procedure properly at all! Had no idea where to get for lock box and where to go once we got the fob which was extremely difficult. No mention of which lock box went with which suit unit. Absolutely no mention to go back to the front door to gain entry to the building after obtaining fob! Huge trouble opening lock box. All in all a nightmare getting in and out! Had to leave key inside suite as lock box didn’t open. Suggest this procedure needs immediate attention. Suite was excellent!

CanadaI had to keep the blinds down the entire time because the only view is right into the neighbour's windows. It was quite bleak and depressing.
It is in the perfect location, just a short walk from Beacon with everything you could possibly need.

CanadaThe bedroom was very tiny, with the bed pushed against the wall, and only a small table on one side. Bed was not very comfortable. We also only realized after a couple of days that the mattress only had a mattress cover, no sheet, and then we discovered the sheet in the dryer. The bathroom had lots of products, but only two very thin towels and two washcloths: no hand towels. Although there were lots of pots and pans, there were only two mugs, and four luncheon size plates, no dinner or side plates. The only mirror was over the sink in the bathroom, so no way to check your appearance before going out.
Location was perfect for accessing everything in downtown Sidney, and for walks on the waterfront. Also great access to the airport. Everything was very clean in the apartment. Lots of storage space, although not really needed for short stays.

CanadaThe only bed in this unit was broken and when we reached out on multiple occasions we received no response from booking.com or the owners. We were unable to sleep in the bed so if you are not interested in sleeping in the unit it’s fine.
