The grounds could use some sweeping from winter gravel

The staff were amazingly, friendly and approachable. Every one of them they look very happy with their work cleanliness is top-notch although the grounds around the resort building could use some sweeping.

Manning Park is beautiful! They have great EV charging facilities. The pool and Hot Tub were excellent.

There is no air conditioning. It was quite warm in the evening when we stayed at the hotel.

Great location, quiet area, and clean rooms. Close to the day use area and look-out. Very convenient. The food in the restaurant is great too.

Breakfast is limited to the Pinewood Restaurant where food takes a long time to arrive (20-30 minutes is not unusual). Would like a cafe-style service.

Clean and quiet. The soundproofing may not be very good that one could hear noises from the hallway or neighboring rooms, but past 11:00pm, all things quiet down.

I spilled a little water on the floor and when I went to wipe it up, I was grossed out by how dirty the floor was. My feet were quite dirty walking around the room and I wished I had slippers. The rooms need to be mopped. Our coffee wasn't replenished automatically; I assumed that would happen, but I easily got replacements at the front desk. The steam room wasn't working, but this wasn't advertised on the website. The food at the restaurant wasn't that great...really salty cauliflower bites. The gluten free/vegan chocolate tort was awful. However, I liked the pork bun.

We liked the activities available (games room which we used quite a bit). It's very family friendly and the price is right. I like the seating in the main lobby (quite a bit of private vignettes) so that is well planned. However, they need to be fixed (ripped pool table) and the plinko thing was broken. The shuffle board needs to be fixed to.

No air conditioning—room was 27C when we arrived. Luckily they provided a fan in the room. Noise from neighbouring room’s shower was quite loud (late in evening).

Room very outdated. Lots of obvious "fixer up" projects done in the room like cutting out part of the bathroom counter to make the toilet fit. Make sure you wear your shoes in the room,the floors are filthy. No A/C made the heat unbearable in the room. It is very overpriced for what it is, but where else is there to stay in Manning Park? Having said that, I have stayed in the cabins before and prefer them over the rooms in the lodge.

I’d say it’s better here in winter than summer. (I’ve stayed her in winter too). But on hot summer day, We found the room too hot as poor air circulation, no air conditioning. The portable fan helps but took awhile to cool down the room. This wouldn’t be a problem in cooler months.

Room was clean for the most part, but dirty under the beds, there was lots of crumbs and very dusty. The steam room was closed and the fountain in the pool was broken. Also the sauna was turned off in the morning and it takes a long time to heat up. Also there was a broken piece tile in pool that my son stepped on.

Games room, pool are lots of fun. Great place for families. Pizza in the evening was nice, just wish they had pizza earlier. Towels in the pool were handy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Convenient stopover location with a spacious suite and my son loved the games room!
