I love that the breakfast and snacks are out all day. The new owners are doing great at fixing it up. While we were there the upgraded the breakfast bar and flooring, the finished look was very classy. The staff were so kind and helpful. The plug in airfreshener was a bit strong but I just put it in a drawer. I travel with my air purifier so that helped a bit. The beds were quite hard they could use a mattress topper or updated beds, as I could feel the springs. It seemed to be mosty construction crews, more than families staying. But we were in Maple Creek for a funeral, so we were just looking for a clean and affordable place to sleep and this fit the bill.

There was plenty of parking but it was only available on one side of the building so we were not able to see our car from the room.

The room was a decent size with a good sitting area and mini fridge. The layout of the room was thought out and although some of the furniture was dated the room was clean and tidy. The availability of tea and coffee in the common area was nice

I wish the adjoining restaurant was open earlier for breakfast. It opens at 11 AM. The furnishings are a bit dated but clean. I am fine with the 80s/90s decor for the excellent rate that I had for the room. I would rate this property much higher than the “big name“ property I stayed at one time in Calgary that had holes in the wall, etc.

The new management is quite friendly and well organized. They seem to have staff cleaning the property several times per day. The room rates were great. The property was very quiet. Laundry facilities are on site. There is a new “common area“ where guests can help themselves to cereal, toast, coffee, etc. this is a nice touch. All amenities that are required are in your room or the “common area”.

Very friendly, family-run operation. Good, clean rooms. Though it's an older building, the owners did a good job of what appeared to be recent renovations especially in the bathroom. The use of one of the rooms for a social room to get tea and coffee was a great idea.

The motel is old/worn. New owners purchased this property 2 months ago and said they have some improvement plans. In its current state, we would look for another property in Maple Creek.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. It was great that we could purchase food and drinks without having to leave the premises.
