The location was great! The townhome had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our stay.

Checking in and out was easy. The contact with the host was very friendly. Margie sent us a message with all the information about how to get into the house and let is know when the room was ready. We stayed on the second floor in a family suite (bedroom with queen sized bed and an adjoining room with a single bed). The room was located over the room with garden access, so we had a lovely view from our window into lush greensand surrounding the backyard. We had to leave the room to access our private bathroom. It was directly in front of our door, and there was just one other room on the same floor. We never encountered anyone walking back and forth. Downstairs there was a kitchen well stocked with tea and coffee. There was also a big dining table where we met some very nice fellow travelers in the morning. The area was quiet but close to a busy street with restaurants and stores. We found an amazing ramen place nearby. There was also a bus stop and a subway station close to the house.

The ceilings were low & I bumped my head a couple of times, going on & out of the closet.

We had a wonderful stay. I loved the little extras. The snack bar with drinks waiting for us, Q-tips in the bathroom, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately there is no AC so it can get a bit warm since it's a loft. There were two fans which helps but I imagine it would be quite warm during summer.

The place was clean and the location is great! Lots of food and things to do nearby. The host was friendly and instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Need TV instructions. Couldn’t download the app.

Great location. Nice room. Only problem we had was couldn’t get any TV news in English. Never saw the host or other guests but good instructions and lovely decoration.

Internet is spotty and not reliable. This should be updated. Kitchen is sparse and needs wine glasses, juice glasses, larger bowls, etc.

Great location to access the city center and some highlight tourist spots, and an absolutely adorable place! The neighborhood is quiet, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Staff were also quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay.

Up & down a lot of steps

Well presented townhouse convenient to transport for a city stay. Felt secure & instructions were clear & easy to follow.

Nothing I didn't like but it would be really nice if there was laundry facility especially since there isn't a laundromat close by. It would be inconvenient I want to stay beyond 3-4 days.

This is my second time staying at Margie Townhouse and in the same unit. The location is great for me because it's close to a relative I was visiting. There are lots of restaurants around and I love Loblaw supermarket which is a short walk away. Having a small shared kitchen to use with coffee, tea and creamer provided was nice although maybe because it's weekend, the creamer was replenished. I also like that there is a smally fridge in our suite without having to use the common fridge in the kitchen. Because of a late flight out of Toronto, we were able to leave our luggage and pick up later in the day.

The room had a lower ceiling in one section where I had to bend down to avoid bumping my head.

Only that the skylight didn't close (sunlight woke us up very early both mornings), and the a/c in the bedroom could have been higher given the high August humidity, although several fans were provided.

Overall cleanliness, unique and lovely decorations, all the extra amenities and snacks provided, very much enjoyed the "homey" feeling, and thankful for the security provided.

When walking to the metro station, there are some strange people in the street, although it is not dangerous.

Well set up and clean. It has a living room and beds in a second level. It has a shared kitchen a dining room. Before checking in there was communication with the host to make sure that we could come in. The bathroom has a lot of towels, creams, shampoo, conditioning.

The only downside was that the AC is central and we couldn’t regulate the temperature.

Great location, it’s right in the downtown and there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. It’s clean and comfortable, the host is very kind and responsive. There is a coffee machine in the shared kitchen, which was very nice.
