How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We were not advised that the elevator was not working, this resulted having to carry supplies and luggage up 3 flights of stairs. In addition, because the stairwell to the underground parking locked and we were not provided with a key, we would have to walk down the stairs, all the way to the entrance of the parking and then basically walk the length of the underground parking back to the stairs where the car was parked. Also no air conditioning made for a warm sleep.
location was great, loved having two bathrooms and the outside deck allowed for people watching.

The appliances in the unit were shockingly old and worn. Very old fridge, knife block looked like it was from the 1960s.
The location could not be more perfect. I've stayed at various properties in Whistler and this was the most ideal in terms of closeness of restaurants, groceries, parking, etc.

No gym! Big bummer. For the price of lodging, a descent gym is a must. Apartment shows the age and was not renovated since the Olympics 15 years ago

Units 220 and 338 need to be touched up, very dated, but comfortable to sleep in.
Did not have breakfast. Location was the best part of this property. Beautiful area for the kids to play with the snow. Everything was lit up.

The furniture and decor have seen better days, but everything in the unit was in working order. The unit was very hot despite turning off all the heat, and there were no screens on the windows. We reported the heat issue, so I’m sure they will fix it. Also, too many texts and emails from Vacasa with the same message.
The location was excellent. The staff was friendly. The bed was very comfy!

Wrong instructions for key pick up..we did book late afternoon but when arrived missed pick up key location by 5mins took over half hour at least to get key finally arrived in apartment 10pm and had to be out by 10am

Heating was blowing in the corridors and the lift nearest our room was out of use and we had a disabled guest with us.

We couldn’t store our bags as we arrived early, it’s a bit dated furniture needs updating. Disappointed that we had no housekeeping in a 10 day stay.

One of the rooms was a little 'tired' looking and in both we were unable to use the dresser drawers as there were no runners to hold them in the dresser.
Location was great, room was clean, facilities all in good working order. We received a call upon check in to make sure everything was fine, much appreciated.

No fans or aircon present - difficult during summer as it was very very hot and uncomfortable. Part of the blinds was on the floor, obviously broken, when we arrived and the coffee table was also broken.

The key pick up and drop off location wasn't very close to the accommodation. This was an issue if you didn't have a car.
The location was great, very central, and easy to access the mountain and lifts.

It was 30 degrees C while we were there and there was no air conditioning. I realize now that the listing did not include air conditioning, but it was a surprise. There was a mediocre fan in the bedroom. As well, the elevators in the centre of the complex were not working (which happened to be the ones closest to our parking and unit). There didn't seem to be any effort to fix them during the time we were there.
The location right near Olympic Plaza is great. Walkable distance from the town centre. The room was comfortable and kitchen was well equiped.

Refrigerator constantly runs. Just wanted to report that.
Great location and easy to walk to many things. The apt. was clean and quiet and had the basic necessities. Good Wi-Fi reception and appreciated the parking space.

Desk to pick-up keys was very far from the hotel. Made it frustrating to get there because we didn't have a car and had to carry our bags & luggages back and forth. No AC in the units, but they do provide fans-- we didn't discover this until later.

The bed was not very good and the room was a bit small. Especially once we unfolded the bed. Checking in and out is somewhere else
