The bed is comfortable, but the room was cold. The room is ok. The room is relatively clean. The bathroom/toilet is not clean. Some things need repair/restoration. The kitchen seemed ok. There was a misunderstanding about how to get into my room, since I did not receive detailed instructions by email in advance and the staff/reception is absent. This spoiled my mood, since I was standing outside under the rain and did not understand how to get inside, after which the cold room, tired after fly I was disappointed. It is good that the rooms have a digital, automatic lock, it would be good to inform those arriving of the details (photos/instructions). In general, for such a price it could have been better. Or if I had paid less, I could have closed my eyes to some details. The price and quality do not correspond.

The noise in one of the rooms is unbearable - it's not possible to sleep there. I moved to another room, I could still hear the noise but I managed to fall asleep in the end, probably due to time difference vs Europe. The kitchen/common area is not that super clean and a sofa there is damaged.

It's well located and has a good price for Canada. There's a kitchen you can use and coffee/tea available for breakfast. The owner was helpful with changing the room.

The room walls were very thin. Let’s just say that the couple in the room opposite had an amazing time - twice at 11pm at night and 4.30am - safe to say I pretty much heard every word and sound. Then someone got up at 5am for a shower and bedroom 3 is right next to the washroom so that stopped some of the noise from the happy couple, but then he decided to have a full blown conversation at the top of his voice in the corridor before leaving the property at 5.30am. The mattress and pillows were quite solid so if you prefer softer bed items maybe this isn’t the place for you.

Its location was 5 mins drive from McMasters. The pre-arrival instructions were fantastic and the communication was prompt and informative from the host. I had a complete 100% contactless arrival and departure which was also appreciated as I arrived in the early hours. The shower unit was awesome. Amazing temperature and pressure! Lots of parking on the side streets but if during fhe week it’s 2hr stay max but I just moved the car a couple times Kitchen had full facilities which was appreciated and there is a mini mart opposite the property so was able to buy cereal and milk.

I like that I found a bottle of water ready for me in the room when I arrived. I used it and then left it in the fridge, but later, someone took it and I couldn't find it. I asked the owner for another one, but he refused. That was weird.

I didn't see breakfast there! Everyone brings his food. But there is a kitchen to use. Not sure if the owner lives there, but he uses the kitchen too from time to time. There is a cleaning lady there, everyday I guess.

The people living in the basement were drug addicts that start blasting music at 9am. Really sketchy guy in the basement listens for when you leave your room.

Only downside is location as its a few miles from the centre of Hamilton but even then its not a big issue

Host was friendly and accommodating, room was small but very warm.and comfortable inside. Tea, coffee and lots of other amenities provided in the kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you might need during your stay. Shower is excellent. There is a laundry room too!

I booked for the room because your app said there was a queen bed in it. And later the owner said there is no queen bed in it but two full size beds. On lodging to the room on the 23rd, it was only one full size bed in the room. My partner and I had to endure sleeping on the only one full size bed in the room. At that point in time, I got no choice because it was cold outside and I don’t have a ride. That’s how two of us slept on the small bed for five days.

The walls were very thin, if you are a light sleeper who easily gets disturbed by other people walking, get ear plugs.

Located in a great area with all you need close, also a bus stop right outside to take you downtown. Walter is friendly and easygoing, making the stay even easier! The house have also all you need from kitchen to laundry room.

Cracked floor tiles, a sink hole in the front yard, very hard bed and uncomfortable pillows, no guarantee of parking even though it was expressed in advance.

Code to get the keys was not correct. Once found the correct code from another guest keys were not there. Took more than 2 hours and the room that was booked not available. Ended up with single bed room instead of double bed. Was refunded $50.00 for the mix-up.

Mattress covered in stains, house is overwhelming with artificial scents (multiple air fresheners all over), loose broken tiles in hallway.

Convenient location, walking distance to pretty much everything you'd want to do. Fridge space and kitchen amazing to have. Can't argue with the price for value
