Misty Meadows is located in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by nature and yet only 15 mins from shops and restaurants.

Don’t have any dislikes! It was fabulous! Lots of trees around and somewhat shady but a delight for the birds!

There wasn’t anything to dislike, everything was fantastic

The property is gorgeous and very welcoming. Cathy and Errol are both very friendly and very accommodating, the rooms were spacious beautiful and very clean and well kept.

The hosts were lovely and welcoming as were their dog and two cats. They also have sheep and donkeys on the property. The loft suite we were in was clean and included local tourism pamphlets. Bathroom is spacious and clean.

The host and hostess are wonderful, lovely people. We enjoyed our chats. The home and grounds are enchanting. The breakfasts were delicious. In addition we enjoyed the sheep, donkeys, kitties and dog! A definite 10!

Location embedded in nature and off the beaten path. The donkeys and the dog. The quiet mornings with the deer. Hosts were excellent and really took care of us and the breakfasts were innovative and super tasty and they accommodated our different breakfast times And the beds were clean and comfy.

Would of been nice to have a clock in room. Also, room was so roomy but the tv was too small for easy viewing. Otherwise nothing negative.

The drive in and out is a challenge. Narrow, twisty, hilly for a few miles. Be careful.

The setting was bucolic in a forest. Quiet, peaceful. Great hostess. Dog and 2 kitties.

Breakfast seemed a bit rushed, with barely enough time to eat cereal/fruit before the cooked breakfast arrived. However, it was all beautifully prepared

Everything was comfortable for our stay, no negatives here. Probably the road is a bit windy to get down to the b&b but again, pleasurable stay 🙂

The Hostess is really sweet! The cats are so cute and cuddly. We really enjoyed the breakfast she cooked and we even met some other guests during breakfast who were visiting from Denmark. Would definitely recommend!

We can only suggest this location wholeheartedly. This is a beautiful B&B, quiet, of the beaten path in the woods. Very relaxing, the owners made us feel like home. Cathy and her husband are very friendly, knowledgeable hosts. It is a little drive away from Victoria, but for anybody who wants to be away from the hubbub of a big city, but not too far away from it, this is perfect. We loved it and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Breakfast was delicious, rooms are very clean comfortable and nicely decorated. Cathy also had prepared a lot of local information for us. We had a marvelous time.

The distance too deep in

It is clean & tidy . Well decorated The equipment/ toilets/ facilities are well designed & practical. The food ( both day breakfast) are delicious 👍👍👍 The pets ( dog , cats, sheep, donkey) are very adorable. 🥰

This was our second stay at Misty Meadows and it was great just as the first one was. Cathy’s breakfasts are incredible and Erroll was so great taking our daughter down to feed the donkey. We had an early flight and Cathy packed us a travel breakfast for the drive to the airport and snacks for once we were through security, it was really appreciated.

It’s beautifully located only a short trip to many attractions. We enjoyed hearing the birds in the mornings and our daughter loved getting to feed Noah the donkey each morning. Cathy’s breakfasts are incredible and she did such an amazing job putting together something fun for our three year old each day. The two-bed suite was perfect for our family.

Misty Meadows is surrounded by tall trees and nature, making it a perfect spot if you are looking for peace and quiet after a long day. There are walking trails, conservation areas, as well as many other local attractions nearby. Victoria is about a 35 minute drive. Families with young children would enjoy the sheep and the little donkey that are on the premises. Carol is a wonderful host.

We had a great stay at Misty Meadows! Lovely hosts, beautiful surroundings, and the cutest and cuddliest cats. With five people, we needed to use the pullout couch in addition to the two double beds. The breakfast was super nice, and options were offered to young family members who are picky about what they eat :)

Small disadvantage in having to negotiate narrow winding road at night if out for a meal. But that is the only hint of a downside, not a criticism, and of course it goes with the peaceful isolation.
